Crop Rotation vs Stagnation
A JV Editorial
All due disrespect to Chief Sacco and Solicitor Mark Rumley, Medford's own Frick and Frack comedy routine just screech "term limits" for the elected officials who keep those two jokers in positions of power. These two court jesters / scallywags cause serious injury to Medford residents. THEY PROTECT AND SERVE THEMSELVES in violation of the oath of office that each individual took.
They are derelict in their duty to you, dear citizen, and fail to live up to the serious obligations these difficult times demand.
Limiting terms in public office is a political form of "crop rotation" and it definitely stops stagnation. 28 years of Michael J. McGlynn and his highly deceptive business practices need not be extended under McGlynn-Redux - Stephanie Muccini-Burke. Don't fool yourselves, Medford citizens, these rogues engage in conspiracy, favoritism, building bloated salaries, staying around too long for a bigger pension, all things anti-public service and evidence of self-service.
Let the revolution begin!
Crop rotation is the practice of growing a series of dissimilar or different types of crops in the same area in sequenced seasons. It is done so that the soil of farms is not used to only one type of nutrient. It helps in reducing soil erosion and increases soil fertility and crop yield.
Growing the same crop in the same place for many years in a row disproportionately depletes the soil of certain nutrients. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crop_rotation
