Bob Maiocco used to whine and complain like a 5 year old if he didn't get his way, guilt-tripping the other city councilors to repeatedly badger them for the job which pays about another 2 grand. Wouldn't you like to know the 2 grand you are paying at Stop and Shop with your triple coupons - and what you are buying?. My article on Uncle Bob's problems at Wells Fargo appears to have been the thing to make Maiocco resign, though I'm sure he will tell you otherwise. Voters and taxpayers have little information on elected officials, no transparency, and remarkably the other six members of the council had no idea of Maiocco's problems at Wells Fargo until Maiocco threatened me with a metal pipe, on camera at a council meeting, which prompted me to investigate him The councilors DO NOT check on the backgrounds of their colleagues, and that is wrong.
