Notre Dame HS teacher accused of fondling student in classroom - not another COACH?

LAWRENCE – A Notre Dame High School science teacher has been charged with fondling a student when she came to his classroom seeking extra credit in February and asking the girl to send him nude photos, authorities said Tuesday.

Harman, a former track coach at the Diocese of Trenton school, was arrested at his Franklin Township home Monday following a joint investigation by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Special Victims Unit and the Lawrence Township Police Department, Onofri said.


He faces three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of criminal sexual contact, Onofri said. Harman was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.

School officials released an email statement Tuesday afternoon, saying the administration was cooperating with investigators and has put Harmon on administrative leave pending the outcome.
