Medford Police Force -
Why this investigation matters.

Turn to page 25 - I do not know Richard Iozza, an officer who took an oath to serve and protect; I do not know Jordan Cannava, but both men chose his "right to remain silent." That is disturbing. Cannava makes $85,076.16 according to the salaries that I requested from City Hall SALARIES: salaries of cops here: https://medfordinformationcentral.blogspot.com/2019/11/medford-police-honest-cops-and-some.html

Richard Iozza makes $88,825.36. Medford citizens don't have the time to comprehend what the headlines were about, and how much these officers of the law make.
The problem is that these individuals are making the better part of one hundred grand a year and for that kind of money the citizens deserve MORE honesty and HIGHER STANDARDS.

These are not "all good men and women," as Chief Buckley is telling you to pull the wool over your eyes.

They are getting 88k and 85k and invoke the Fifth Amendment? Ostensibly to avoid self incrimination?

So the oath of office means nothing?

An Ed Finn can assault a senior citizen with impunity and these officers of the law don't look around the office and see if a citizen is being unfairly railroaded?

Why has not

ONE

police officer stood up and spoken to the public?

The thin blue wall. Even honest cops need to be questioned if they go silent on the citizens who pay for their expensive services.

Then you have buffoons on the city council like Knight and Dello Russo using phony talking points to defend the indefensible, supporting Solicitor Mark Rumley and Chief Jack Buckley's October 1, 2019 charade in front of the city council

Why is it on the shoulders of one investigative reporter to put up with the slings, arrows, death threats, telephone harassment, cinder block through the window?

Because they expect to intimidate citizens to the point where they give up and hide in fear. So this goes beyond the alleged criminality or malfeasance or both of "compensation fraud."

Forget the thin blue wall, what about the rights of the people paying these officers of "the law," who don't get "the police service" they deserve, as former police chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr. said in such a smug, ugly fashion on 10/17/17.

It's just not right, and Mark Rumley's position wasn't right, Stephanie Burke's position wasn't right and what we have is people abusing their power to the detriment of Medford society.

There's no excuse for it, and this is not the way life should be.

Breanna Lungo-Koehn needs to fire any individual that can't answer a simple question.

A police officer takes an oath of office then pleads the fifth when allegedly caught?

Really?

Put the officer in YOUR shoes where YOU are held to a higher standard, the citizen that doesn't know the law, while Rumley holds these officers of the law to the lowest standards possible.

It's horrible.

To be continued.
