Suffolk Superior Court judge has denied embattled Boston Police
Commissioner Dennis White’s motion for a preliminary injunction, in a
ruling that clears the way for White to be removed from his post.
White, who was placed on leave over allegations of domestic violence in
February, two days after he was sworn in, was seeking a preliminary
injunction to block Acting Mayor Kim Janey’s efforts to hold a hearing
to terminate him.
