Breanna Cleaning House: REDEVELOPING CONSUMER AFFAIRS

Consumer protection issues will be handled by the Attorney General’s Office temporarily

(MEDFORD)—Beginning on Monday, January 31, the City’s Consumer Affairs office will temporarily close as the employees who regularly staff that office are retiring after long careers with the City.

In this interim period, residents who need assistance regarding consumer affair issues can contact the Massachusetts Attorney General’s consumer hotline at 617-727-8400 or file a complaint by visiting https://www.mass.gov/how-to/file-a-consumer-complaint.

The City administration congratulates Patricia Wright, a 30-year veteran of City Hall, Paula Keefe, a 39-year veteran of City Hall and Linda Pittorino, a 7-year veteran of City Hall on their retirements. The City is actively engaged in hiring replacements for this office and will be posting the positions soon.
