A School Committee Without Ruggiero

It was good to have Ruggiero on the School Committee for One Term

Mike Ruggiero is like the bull in the china shop!
We needed a wrecking ball in there for one term and then have that wrecking ball booted out.

Both items accomplished!

Ruggiero met with me on a number of occasions, took my ideas just as he swiped the idea of Charter Review and Charter Change from Dr. Storella and Anthony D'Antonio, had a packed Medford Public Library audience where he viciously threw Michael Marks and Breanna Lungo-Koehn under the bus after they were kind enough to accept his invitation to the event.

He couldn't find anyone to videotape his event so her phoned me...as an after thought.

Ruggiero is self-centered and all about himself, not the community.  If I have an issue with Mr. Marks or Mayor-elect Lungo-Koehn I have the integrity to tell them directly.

Mike Ruggiero was not forthright and did not deserve a second term.

SO - why did we want him on the school committee in the first place?

Without an Attorney Bill O'Keefe, which would have been preferable as Bill's heart is in the right place, we needed a screwball to be the fly in the ointment, "the monkey in the wrench," to paraphrase Officer John "Don't Call Me J.J." McLane from the classic Christmas film Die Hard.

Smug Ruggiero got voted off.

Look, this writer told Bob Skerry to run for city council. Bob told me that education is what he knows.   I believe in term limits - Skerry would have been far more powerful and effective on the council than on the rubber stamp school committee.   And the citizens appear to have agreed with me as Bob has lost two elections in a row now.  And one to Ruggiero, of all people (and Paul Ruseau,) so Bob, buddy, take the hint.

School Committee members: Jenny R. Graham, Kathleen P. Kreatz, Melanie P. McLaughlin, Mea Quinn Mustone, Paul Ruseau, and Paulette Van der Kloot.

So what will Graham and McLaughlin add to the equation?   With Mea, Kathy and Ruseau going nutty on us with the Medford Revolution ---- oh, spare me!  Does anyone actually believe Mea Mustone is a "revolutionary" kissing the ass of Stephanie Muccini-Burke, Medford's biggest loser...really!

HA - Stephanie couldn't even win with a former mayor allegedly stealing all those votes for her!

MEDFORD PATCH:
The race came down to a difference of 652 votes, with Lungo-Koehn receiving 6,912 and Burke receiving 6,260.

OK, does anyone believe that highly unpopular Muccini-Burke got 6,260 votes?  Really?

Mrs. Burke probably got 5700 votes, but you had The Emperor Palpatine out there desperate to keep his Mystic Ave folly going.  We know some votes were swiped in 2015 to put ineffective Stephanie in office, I even alerted the FBI in July of 2015 to advise them of what was brewing.

Emperor Palpatine was putting up signs for Stephanie, calling in favors, seeing all the Breanna Lungo-Koehn signs going up all over the city.

They say signs don't vote - but signs do give you an idea of someone's popularity, or lack thereof.

Keep in mind, certain segments of the city have always (ok, allegedly) been forced to put up signage OR ELSE.  That's been the rumor for decades here.  So even with Emperor Palpatine putting up her name in lights with the alleged "signage by extortion" corporation in the background, Stephanie was NOT going to get
anywhere near a thousand votes close to Breanna.  Not going to happen!

So Stephanie had "a little help from her (so-called) friends."  By this point Mayor Burke was in too far over her head.  People had a taste of Muccini-Burke and they didn't like the flavor, not at all.

But mark my words, there was funny business going on...just not enough to steal another election.  The Emperor got thrown into the incinerator by the ineptness of Ms. Darth Vader (or Darth Stephanie as I like to call her.)  Ker Plunk, and for Medford's version of Mayor Palpatine it was a bitter pill to swallow.

Now change the name of the damn McGlynn School and really put the dagger in his heart.
