What Public Records Requests Say About Mark E. Rumley's Honesty, Work Ethic, and Oath of Office

Rumley was rarely forthright with FOIA, the Freedom of Information Act.

In appeals Rumley has lost repeatedly, culminating in the L'Italien Report...where the city lawyer lost to a Pro se Frequent Public Records Filer!

Rumley has a license to practice law, yet some novice repeatedly - and quite successfully -  put a flashlight on Rumley's poor logic and bad decisions.  A Novice!

Rumley being a jerk on the "witness" stand in Somerville District Court when he was hardly a witness.   Removed with a simple "Objection."

You want that putting his fingerprints all over Medford documents?

Remember: Every government document belongs to the public!

All governmental records are public records. Keep that in mind.

Mark E. Rumley didn't.  Rumley was more like a juvenile playing "hide n' seek" when it came to the truth about Medford...and getting the L'Italien report from him was like pulling teeth.  So much about being FORTHRIGHT!

I had to pry that report out of his dirty fingernails with the disinfectant provided me by the law.  And you know what?
I'm not even a lawyer - Rumley purportedly is!

Mark Rumley should pay "his" salary back to the ratepayers and taxpayers.  In a perfect world Rumley would be charged, tried and convicted for a number of erroneous activities that created lasting damage in the city and seriously wounded Medford - it's residents, businesses, civic groups and visitors.  Rumley is currently a very bad apple in a massive position of power.  Blame McGlynn.

Blame yourselves for not listening to the voice of reason.   A LOT of money was not put where it could best serve the citizens of Medford.

For too long residents were just supposed to take Rumley's malarkey and ignore it.  That's the way the long-time city lawyer liked it.

No oversight.

No criticism.

I submit that Mr. Rumley's lack of performance, or  to be more precise, his performance on behalf of city officials and not the city itself, was a dereliction of duty.

Mark Rumley repeatedly failed in his obligations to the residents of Medford who pay him money that they never (personally) agreed to pay him.  The entire process of how government officials get paid and the highly suspicious nature of the election process, McGlynn allegedly using every angle in his tool box to retain power, could only happen with someone on the inside in one of the most powerful positions in city hall.

Crooked Edward P. Finn was a terrible city clerk and a very bad, violent human being.  The ex football player abused his authority and was caught red-handed.

A police officer - obviously without knowledge of how ugly this city has operated - he looked like a rookie and was most professional - advised me to press charges on Ed Finn.

Let's dig deeper where Mark Rumley can be directly connected to what Judge Jackson-Thompson (retired) considered could be malfeasance.

1)Rumley was appointed to the board of directors of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.

2)Though the station "only" got 200k of - say - a million dollars annually, 200k going to pay 3 teachers in a VERY inappropriate fashion (Jack Dempsey, king of the silent movie, didn't give a damn about Lavalier microphones OR  putting them on guests...like the fire chief and chief of police...just one case in point.  You want to pay JD Sports Videos when you've already paid him for the footage via the public access station, now THAT's ADDD - Alleged Double-dipper Dempsey!)

This offensive behavior went on under Rumley's watch, and when the public reached "a crescendo," as Rumley stated to me,  there was a phony "election" for January 2009 dangled to the angry masses.  Well, Rumley had no intention of letting the people decide, even though I armed him with evidence that Frank Pilleri had lied to him and the public about said election.  I gave Rumley the ammo and Rumley allowed Pilleri to shut down the election with his (allegedly) fraudulent (as in, not duly elected) board of directors, with that scumbag Ronald Delucia of Ark Insurance, Stoneham pissing away cable TV subscriber funds to maliciously abuse the legal system.   THREE violations of Anti-SLAPP, an angry judge throwing the mayor's cousin off of the case, only to find Rumley, a witness for yours truly, giving legal advice to his pal, the mayor's cousin, to get the lawyer reinstated after he had thoroughly pissed off the court!

Mark Rumley can burn in hell for all eternity for his unclean hands hurting citizens and standing in the way of over one hundred thousand dollars of your money going south, literally!

Rumley even wrote a flawed "Rumley Report" - which I used in court to win cases with.  But Rumley didn't go far enough in his report, with which he could have slammed the phony board of directors of TV3 (which I intend to do now once the Attorney General's office brings its report to my mailbox.)

This report can be expanded, but you get the drift.

Mark E. Rumley is bad news.  The sooner the stench of his unfortunate conduct is removed from city hall, the better.
