Letter just sent to Joe Biden via the web 2:38 pm 12/27/2020

DEAR PRESIDENT-ELECT BIDEN:   President Elect Biden States: "I don't know any police department around that isn't happy to get rid of a lousy cop because it just reflects on them."

Sent via e mail:
President Elect Joe Biden
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW,
Washington, DC, 20500

Dear President-elect Joseph Biden:

Your quote replayed on Meet the Press on Sunday made it clear that you haven't heard about the malfeasance at the Medford Massachusetts police department under John "Jack" D Buckley and Leo A. Sacco, Jr. before him.

They relish bad police officers. They enable bad police officers.  They hold their thin blue wall tight, to the detriment of Medford society.   Hopefully you can address this and look into it so that we can remedy a very bad situation.

Chief Buckley, in particular, was caught on camera October 1, 2019 at the Medford City Council claiming, falsely, that "These are all good men and women."  He was referencing the Cradock Bridge Scandal.   This writer put in a Freedom of Information Act "public records request" which sent Medford City Hall, under previous mayor Stephanie Muccini-Burke, into disarray.  The untrustworthy former city solicitor fought long and hard to keep information on the "L'Italien Report," the 64 page document from a private investigator, away from this reporter.

Ex Solicitor Mark E. Rumley failed...again.

Once the Secretary of State's office demanded they give me the document, death threats - ostensibly from the police, began occurring with phone harassment on a daily basis; a cement block through my bedroom window at 5:20 am on the morning of November 8, 2019, the general Medford abuse and harassment that whistleblowers in this region face.

Medford is the direct opposite of your quote.  Rogue officers, from the late Greg Hudson to the current officer Shawn Hughes allegedly strangling and/or abusing their wives to Shawn Norton's drunk driving episode, Kevin Faller, Detective Paul MacKowski and Paul Covino signing off on false charges on a reporter with an invisible clerk at Somerville Court (when the trial was in Cambridge District Court,) on behalf of one of the most corrupt elected officials in city history, Richard F. Caraviello, soon to be council president...again.   At trial Caraviello was asked if he is one of the "biggest s.o.b.'s" in Medford and replied to judge and jury "I'm on the list."  Blurting out before a council meeting that he considers himself "the biggest S.O.B. in Medford."    THEY EMBRACE THE MALFEASANCE!

In Medford the oath violations are considered a badge of honor.  Take ex cop Steven Lebert, his murder threats while off duty as bad in my opinion as Miguel Lopez allegedly covering up a murder at his home.  There's all sorts of "not-so-funny" funny business going on ...bad business, deceptive business practices, out and out thuggery.

Chief Sacco's son was NOT arrested under the suspicion of drunk driving, and the citizens are at the mercy of a mafia-styled city government praising an unqualified and incompetent access television station manager obtaining a phony award and, last week, December 22, 2020, getting acknowledged by the city council as the Zoom conference call was falling apart.  They praise someone and while praising him, his inability to run a station - the Zoom audio going out, is there for all to see.

Medford has a long history of bad TV station managers, so Patrick Gordon fits the bill, doing access for the politicians and spitting at the public with policies and procedures intentionally designed to keep people out.  Of course they "award" him, included on that list is an ex station manager so inappropriate he couldn't even put a tripod together.  Medford rewards clueless station managers so long as the public is kept out.  THAT is their job at around 70k a year now.

Thus, President-elect, you now know of a police station that embraces wrongful conduct by the men and women who violate their oath with impunity.  The behavior of the city council in line with that type of anti-social, anti-community activity; the school committee unaware of a convicted felon on that committee while they will CORI check you and Jill Biden if you want to bake cookies on the TV station.   Or someone's grandma, or someone's fifteen your old kid who may want to talk sports on the not-so-public TV station.

A TV station which only exists because of my hard work and honest efforts on behalf of community media.  I shut down the previous station which refused to honestly show the public its finances.  Oh, and the ex city solicitor was a member of that board of directors so he, of course, decided he would investigate his own board and then deep-sixed his investigation.  Of course.

I'm glad you are president, I have voted for you and appreciate your attention to this matter.

I hope you can help me bring some dignity to Medford, Massachusetts.

The current mayor, Breanna Lungo-Koehn, stood up to Chief Buckley as a city councilor.  Now that she's mayor she's buddy buddy with Buckley's mischievous, unseemly and undemocratic abuse of the good police officers in Medford, of which there are many...(but, simply, not enough) ...while failing to serve and protect the public, Buckley's primary job.  A police chief as incompetent as a public access TV station manager is a prescription for disaster.  No protection from Chief Buckley, censorship by Patrick Gordon at the fraudulent TV station.   A script so bad it would be rejected by Hollywood, but people in this region are exposed to its toxicity every day.

Respectfully,
Joe Viglione
My first access TV show in 1979
