...RUMOR has it that the stolen copper at the Medford Housing Authority and allegedly stolen manhole covers, curbstones, and other alleged incidents led to one of the perps - allegedly involved in a betting scandal --- ratting out the players which led to the L'Italien Report and the outing of the compensation fraud...it's just a rumor, but connecting the dots some of this seems to make sense!

MEDFORD, MA – Attorney General Maura Healey on Friday announced the indictments of nine people in connection with a large-scale illegal sports betting and money laundering in greater Boston. Included in the indictments were Medford residents Paul Limone, 58; Anthony DiMare, 57; Donald DiMare, 65; and John Whalen, 52.

Marcia Hillson was indicted on one count of registration of bets, use of the phone for gambling and conspiracy to register bets.
Willcox was indicted on one count of attempted extortion, and Rothfuchs was indicted on one count organizing and promoting gambling, registration of bets, use of the phone for gambling and conspiracy to register bets.
They will be arraigned on the charges at a later date in Middlesex Superior Court.
All very suspicious
