Corona Virus - Strange New World, Reality Gone Upside Down

    As I've been using public transporation more than the car lately it's been a unique experience during CVM - Corona Virus Madness.   As I said to the cool bus driver tonight "My own personal chauffeur service."  I was the only person on the bus.  He said tomorrow they could be cutting back the hours even more.  

    Stop and Shop was in it's a "seller's world" mode - prices were pretty outrageous...let's call it border-line price gouging. The bargains you found a month ago have vanished into this Dawn of the Dead shopping mall routine.

     Some strange creature kept showing up in every aisle I was heading to, kind of like Dr. Rabies off his meds and when that creepy person wasn't showing up it was that Lost in Space robot, the annoying mechanical thing on wheels that could at least say DANGER WILL ROBINSON as it comes at you like an ex boyfriend with murder on his mind...sheesh...

    Has it really come down to this?

    We have  a new mayor playing with Stephanie's leftovers when we need a real change of heart, mind and attitude in these parts.   The absurdity as we head to month three is overshadowed by the lack of energy and imagination in the corner office.  Of course that's much better than Tony Soprano threatening everyone in Medford with his emotional blackmail.   McGlynn is still a nasty you-know-what, even more so that his ass has finally been booted out of city hall.

    Pat Gordon is just Ben Brown redux, did they clone these stupid fools and pull them out of a Cracker Jack box or something?  Sheesh...no indepdendent thought, no idea of access television, no idea whatsoever.   At least Ron Cox used to wind Pat up and he'd be polite back in the day but even Ronny's gone off the reservation since that eye surgery.  They didn't fix his eyes, they replaced them - probably had John Wayne Gacey or Charlie Manson's on ice.  Not the same Ron Cox I knew, nowadays he not only hangs out with creepy stalkers, he has one follow him onto the tarmac!

That's the world we are living in.  The Corona virus changes personalities before it burns them off of the planet.   Harvey Weinstein catching the new plague is proof of that.

Some alien must have abducted Ron and George Manfra and slipped them some secret sauce...things are not the same...
