National Grid Gas Outage Information March 15th

Outage impacts approximately 360 customers on the following streets:
Boston Ave
Eastman St.
Capen St.
Hamilton St.
Harold St.
Pinkham St.
Harris St.
Stevens St.
Stoughton St
Quincy St.
In order to complete necessary (unexpected) repairs, National Grid has needed to shut off gas/heat service to impacted customers on Monday, March 15th. National Grid currently estimates services will be restored by approximately midnight tonight.
In order to restore gas service to impacted homes, National Grid will need to directly access impacted homes, and will coordinate with those properties directly. National Grid employees will need to shut off each meter at impacted properties before making repairs to the gas main. Once repairs are made, crews will visit each impacted property to turn meters back on, and will need to have access to each customer’s home to re-light appliances. Please note, National Grid employees MUST have an ID badge with their name and company logo. They will also be wearing personal protective equipment for COVID-19 precautions.
