National Press March 29, 2021

Some of the review which calls the album a "Fenway Park Grand Slam!"

WE have three new albums in release!

The airplay...and the great reviews...on our thirtieth compilation of music in 50 years, #21 of the legendary Boston Rock and Roll Anthology series ...is humbling...and so important for the history of Boston Music.

Entitled politicians have no idea how much hard work and honest effort goes into making documentaries of New England area music.

Ed Finn wouldn't know how to find great music, compile it, get it to all sound cohesive despite twenty-one tracks coming from about 18 different studios.

Sunday was a marathon day of collecting airplay AND pitching to new radio stations around the world.

A tremendous review today in a national magazine!

Running an independent record label is one of the most difficult businesses in the universe.  My international film on a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist (founding member of the Jefferson Airplane) was downloaded on Bit Torrent around the world...so much of the great music we release gets pirated

On one hand, as a famous manager of one of my famous artists said "It's a bit flattering.  If the music wasn't any good they wouldn't steal it."

Which is 1,000 percent true...we do this as a labor of love.

So when a menacing ex city clerk smears us it is like the bootleggers.

If I didn't make a difference in Medford, they wouldn't have so much anxiety over my writings, would they?

We wouldn't be closing in on two million hits if what we wrote didn't matter.

But it does matter.

Musically

Politically

Success can't be gauged just in terms of dollars and cents.   Ask Edgar Allen Poe.

Thanks to fifty years of very hard work, we have documented Boston area music in a way that it is not represented in New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles or Austin Texas.

There is no company that has worked diligently to document the best music in one region as we have.

And getting SO MUCH airplay and press on the new project warms my heart.

That is satisfaction

That is success

That is progress.

And with stalkers and creeps from Caraviello to Finn, we understand that they are angry, jealous nobodies that outside of the city limits, are completely unknown and worthless.

The high fees my older records are fetching on eBay and other sites as flattering as the bootleggers who seek out the wonderful sounds issued on our label.

More national press is in the wind, we hear!
