RE:Possible Injunctions on city employees including police department

Under the Massachusetts Public Records Act § 66-10 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records that involve an alleged gag order or multiple
gag orders or injunctions.

I seek:

1)All alleged court or MCAD "gag orders" on personnel at Medford City Hall including but not limited to Mayor Lungo-Koehn, Jackie Piques, Lisa Colianni, any employee of the City of Medford
no matter which case

2)Alleged documents of court "gag orders" on opponents of the current administration, they allegedly could be Michael J. McGlynn, Mark Rumley, Michael Durham, Aleesha Nunley Benjamin, etc. etc.

3)Any documents of injunctions currently active against any employee of the city of Medford, including police officers

If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me if the cost will exceed $5.00.  However, I would also like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the public’s understanding of how government works.

As the Medford Police Department knows, and as ex solicitor Mark E. Rumley has stated "You do this for the public, no one would do this work for themselves"  Paraphrased.

The Massachusetts Public Records Act requires a response to this request within 10 days.  If access to the records I am requesting will take longer than this amount of time, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies or the ability to inspect the requested records.

If you deny any or all of this request, please cite each specific exemption you feel justifies the refusal to release the information and notify me of the appeal procedures available to me under the law.

Please respond via e mail

Respectfully,

Joe Viglione
