Perhaps you have heard from recent articles published
by the Somerville Journal that SMC is in search for a new home, this is
true and this is an important reason why you should attend our Annual
Membership Meeting. We want to keep you as informed as possible!
The City of Somerville has alerted SMC to the need to vacate its home at 90 Union Square by the tentative date of May 31, 2020, on a temporary basis, for which some long overdue rehabilitation of the site can get underway.
With that said, the SMC board will be quite active and involved with helping to shape the future of SMC. This includes working on the elevated priority of SMC’s facility needs and working to locate our future home.
