Breanna Lungo-Koehn was a witness who wrote an essay. The police pressed charges on the victim
(and not for Finn's felony crime; the police used Finn's assault in retaliation for the journalist putting in a public record's request on a mayor's daughter (not Lungo-Koehn) allegedly having sexual relations with a varsity coach.)
The police - corrupt Detective Paul Mackowski, underhanded Paul Covino and Kevin Faller, concocted this mess to punish a writer, their version of "taking care of" Jamal Khashoggi - murdered Saudi Arabian journalist - in concert with an unethical clerk at Somerville District Court for a trial in Cambridge District Court, which the journalist won, defeating the lies of Richard F. Caraviello and the pure cowardice of Clerk Finn, the bully who slammed a senior citizen
So when Lungo-Koehn righteously tells Chief Buckley her constituents fear the police, she's damn straight. Too bad Breanna is as cowardly as Ed Finn and puts senior citizens at risk.

the inept and bungling thugs (one terrified of a subpoena) to bully residents they take enormous salaries from.

Here's the very sick punchline: the police, who intentionally had a poor investigation of the case as a current city councilor COMMITTED WITNESS INTIMIDATION of the victim, telling him to "shut up"
about it, with the police refusing to interview the culprit, could only press their false charges on the victim IF, indeed, Finn had committed the crime. No crime, no witness intimidation.
The stench and fingerprints of disgraced ex police chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr. and dishonest Mark E Rumley, the highly conflicted ex city solicitor, were all over this mess.
Your taxpayer dollars at work, for the bad element in city government, not for you. Self-servants, not public servants! Just ask ex Chief Sacco when his son didn't get arrested for alleged
drunk driving the very week of Rick Caraviello's spectacular failure in criminal court.

routine. Disgusting, isn't it? So the incumbents have an edge over the rookies. That's un-American and that's the administration of Lungo-Koehn continuing the unethical policies of Rumley, McGlynn and
Muccini-Burke, LLC. More thuggish behavior. By the way, you pay for the TV station with your cable bill, Breanna, as nervous and anxious as Mike McGlynn, wants you far away from the station.
No fostering of access TV. No professionals who can run a proper website, VOD, Twitter, Instagram, just Pat Gordon getting 70K to take care of a corrupt city council and other officials. Disgusting

aisle, it seems Lungo-Koehn's choices of David Rodrigues, Jackie Rosetti-Piques, and continuing to keep Mike Nestor (she had planned to dump him first, we hear,) Neil Osborne, Pat Gordon, and the other
wretched crew created by her predecessor has pissed off a LOT of Lungo-Koehn supporters who got her elected with a mere 652 votes.
7)CHARTER REVIEW, CHARTER CHANGE, CHARTER COMMISSION
We have LOTS more topics Breanna must answer for in the future: where are the magnificent City Hall doors you paid for?, where is the Charter Commission? Why is Breanna butting heads with the
aforementioned council and not working with them to better the city, more interested in shooting spitballs at each other. What a disgrace.
Day 195 - Today April 21, a holdover from yesterday's Day 196, the discussion is WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO CHARTER REVIEW?
Breanna ran on this; legend has it her arch-enemy, self-serving Adam Knight snuffed it out at a council meeting; and a mayor under Plan A Government allows a lowly nitwit like Knight to out maneuver her?
Really? Adam is on his knees thanking his lucky stars that I'm not mayor...Knight would be under investigation for certain...ahem... items rather than be on the city council, but that's me. The guy who actually
gets things done.

Wasn't one of Breanna's big campaign promises a Charter Commission?Where is it? What happened in September of 2020 when it came to this important issue?
Mayor Lungo-Koehn's campaign (from 2019?) page states:
In 2016, Breanna helped lead the push to establish a charter commission. Though it passed the City Council with a 4-3 vote, the measure was killed on Beacon Hill.
In any review of the charter, Breanna will fight to apply term limits to the office of Mayor. Medford City Charter has not been significantly updated since 1986.

This week, Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn submitted a request to the City Council to approve the creation of a Charter Commission to review the City’s Charter. If approved, the request would be submitted to the State legislature for approval. A Charter Commission would be tasked with reviewing the City’s Charter, which defines the organization, powers, and functions of city government. Medford’s Charter has not been fully reviewed or updated since 1986.
