Subject: GLX Night Work tonight on Boston Ave across from station platform

All,

We regret the late notice on the following GLX nighttime activity starting tonight, Monday, April 26. We make every effort to provide as much notice as possible when informing neighbors of nightwork planned in their vicinity, however, the nature of construction often makes it difficult to confirm the timing of an operation until all variables have been dealt with.

Please be advised there will nightwork taking place on Boston Avenue directly across from the future GLX station platform.  GLXC will be installing approximately 260 feet of sewer line in Boston Ave.  The hours of operation will be 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday through Saturday nights beginning tonight, April 26.  The work is expected to take a few weeks and will produce elevated noise levels in the immediate area. Workers begin by saw cutting pavement followed by the use of a vacuum truck for excavation to reduce the risk of damaging existing utilities.

We apologize for any disruption this work may cause.  This notice is being sent to Burget Avenue neighbors who’s email addresses were provided to us at previous public meetings.  Please feel free to forward or let me know if you would like to unsubscribe.
