One presentation to highlight:
Committee member Gaston Fiore and a group of students from the Medford Vocational-Technical High School will present on “Medford Shovels,” an app that the students are creating that will allow senior citizens to request snow shoveling assistance through a smartphone, laptop or tablet. The effort is related to action items in the city’s Climate Action Plan, including one to make it safer and easier for residents to walk, bicycle and take public transit.
This presentation is scheduled to begin at about 7 p.m.
