COVID-19 At-Home Testing Program

We strongly encourage all families to register their children for the state’s at-home rapid testing program in which we will be distributing rapid COVID tests every other week.  You can register here to receive the at-home testing program.  As part of this program, all students who are registered to participate will receive one box of rapid COVID-19 tests every other week.  Testing prevents the spread of COVID-19, and we encourage all to participate.  If your child tests positive at home, you must report the results to your child’s school nurse or complete this online form.  As always, please do not send symptomatic students to school to be tested.

World Down Syndrome Awareness Day, Monday, March 21st

Monday, March 21st is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day. The United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have recognized this day since 2011. This year’s theme, set by the UN for World Down Syndrome Day is, #Inclusion Means….  Let us take a moment to reflect on what inclusion means to all of us.  We are one district and one community and let us celebrate our rich diversity. If you would like to recognize World Down Syndrome Day in a fun way, you may wear brightly colored shirts or mismatched socks of different colors to express solidarity with individuals with Down Syndrome.
