Medford Mustang Does More Reporting than Lisa Evangelista's Empty MPS Advantage

Fair use copyright of photo of principal  HIGH SCHOOL PAPER'S INTERVIEW WITH A PRINCIPAL - DAVID BLAUCH - THERE'S A BETTER WORTH ETHIC FROM THE KIDS THAN THE HIGHLY PAID EDITOR OF MPS ADVANTAGE. WHY, MADAME MAYOR? https://www.mhsmustangnews.com/2022/03/01/2022-qa-with-ap-david-blauch/

With no media in Medford...Dan Kennedy's blog, the Patch and an empty Medford Transcript, this page is an official "news aggregator," collecting (and creating) stories to benefit the public. When the high school newspaper the Mustang has more information than the expensive MPS Advantage blog at the high school, there's something terribly wrong, Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn. This has to change. https://medfordinformationcentral.blogspot.com/2022/03/medford-mustang-does-more-reporting.html

Editor’s Note- The following is a transcript of a question and answer session.

– When did you start at Medford High School?

I started at MHS in September 2001, so this is my twenty-first year working here.  I attended Boston University 1997-2001 and Salem State from 2003-2006.

-How did you get started in education?

I was an English teacher from 2001-2011.  I enjoyed teaching literature and leading students through discussing and writing about big ideas.  Thinking about those times brings back a lot of great memories.  I was 22 when I started and had just graduated from college.  Many of my former students are in the Boston area, working jobs where occasionally we run into one another.  Some are literally my neighbors; others work in Medford or in the school itself.  Also, many former students achieved greatness around the country and globe, successful in a wide variety of careers.  As I often tell students, kids who graduate from Medford High go on to great things in their lives.
