VIDEO: Cambridge police seek groper
The woman told Cambridge Police that she was walking near the Massachusetts Avenue shopping center near where Beacon Street meets Somerville Avenue at around 8:40 “when she felt someone quickly approach her,” according to a police statement.
“After attempting to step out of the way, the suspect reportedly reached up her skirt and aggressively felt her buttocks,” according to the statement. “When she turned around to confront the suspect, he ran away.”
While police said Thursday that the Somerville woman was unable to describe her alleged assailant, a video was released at around 1:45 p.m. purportedly showing the man running away immediately following the incident.
