Breanna Lungo-Koehn Needs to Hire Joseph Viglione

Breanna Lungo-Koehn
Issuing Authority / Mayor
85 Geo P Hassett Dr
Medford MA 02155

      Comcast TV3 / Verizon TV 47
Station Manager Derelict in his Duties

Dear Honorable Mayor Lungo-Koehn,

Allegedly Patrick Gordon spit at the Seventy Thousand Dollars he is paid to service the city of Medford and failed to do his job. Allegedly.  (See attached photo)

The Medford School Committee, of which you are the chair, allegedly was not taped by the seventy-thousand dollar a year novice - the not-ready-for-prime-time station manager.

My company put in the SOLE response to Mayor McGlynn's RFP for a new access station, and rumors that a state rep and others have publicly stated that Joe Viglione is the best man for the job
are lighting up my phone line.

What are you waiting for, Mayor Lungo-Koehn?   This travesty hurts your election chances; Pat Gordon's CORI check and disastrous policies and procedures keep citizens and
people in surrounding communities locked out of this extension of the First Amendment.   I call it election interference.

1)Does Gordon still live in Georgetown, Mass?  31 miles away, 45-60 minutes travel time depending on traffic conditions???

2)YOU - Mayor Lungo-Koehn - were going to hire locally - people with experience, but close to a year after you were elected
the opposite is true.  You have embraced hires from your predecessors - the antithesis of what you ran on.

3)This journalist/access TV producer dating back to 1979 was the sole person to film Mike McGlynn in Room 207 with the Republic Parking meeting.
I have taped many meetings that this municipality held prior to cameras being installed.  They end up on YouTube, not on the public access station.

I walk the walk.    Patrick Gordon is NOT qualified to operate an access television station and now Medford United is calling out Gordon, jumping
on the bandwagon that I've built since the erroneous hire by ex mayor Stephanie Muccini-Burke.

Do you want Medford to blossom?   I am ready to build a radio station, a real TV station, promotion that serves the public and an attractive place for citizens to meet and express their ideas.

Patrick Gordon has on the Video On Demand 3 views, 5 views, one view ...no work ethic.  Meanwhile my blog has about 1700 hits in 48 hours and 1,698,923 page views as of 8:50 pm tonight

Gordon was nasty to this speaker at the Cable Advisory Committee back in 2018.  No decorum, no professionalism, just an inexperienced "Executive Director" of city-owned access television.

You KNOW I can solve your problems at TV3 / TV 47 - but the evidence shows, Breanna, that there is more transparency on my blog via public records requests than ANYTHING your administration
has done.  It is TIME for you to do the right thing.  The reprobates on the council - Scarpelli, Bears, Caraviello, Knight - will rail against it; the reprobate chief of police will also have a meltdown having to
deal with me, and the mayor of Medford has refused to show the courage that this journalist puts on display every single day.

Breanna, it is now time for you to step up to the plate.  Patrick Gordon doesn't do what has to be done.  It is time for a change.

Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn is the "issuing authority" when it comes to public access television. The station manager, Patrick Gordon, purportedly lives in Georgetown - 31 miles away - 45 minutes to an hour to get to Medford depending on traffic conditions. Mr. Gordon is paid $70,000 or so a year yet if you want to do access television under Gordon and Lungo-Koehn you need to plow through pages of "policy and procedure" designed to keep you out of the station, including a ridiculous CORI check. This flies in the face of this extension of the First Amendment that you pay for if you subscribe to Verizon or Comcast. On March 10, 2020 I spoke to the city council about the deficiencies. And now Eunice Brown is oh so outraged (Eunice's Medford United actually bans people if they don't like them; which is very much like the TV3 policies and procedures, isn't it?) so here we are. Michael Marks allegedly stated in April of 2018 at a Cable Advisory meeting at the TV station "Joe Viglione was right." No doubt about that now. Eunice Brown has provided us Exhibit A.

EUNICE BROWN WRITES ABOUT NEGLIGENT AND UNPOPULAR ACCESS TV STATION MANAGER PAT GORDON : "...he told me that he was not asked to cover the meeting."  That was the School Committee Sub committee meeting from Tuesday 9/15 Rules, Equity and Policy.

HISTORY IN THE MAKING
Today on Friday, September 18, 2020 an historic new record was released  http://joeviglione.com/?p=1796

Look at the work ethic I put into everything.   Read about the new release and think of how this published author can benefit Medford television.

We lost Ruth Bader Ginsburg tonight and Mitch McConnell just "threw down the gauntlet" as MSNBC announces and - in conflict with McConnell's push for Obama not to have a Supreme Court justice,
ignoring Ginsburg's dying wish to hold off the vote for her seat until after the election, we see chaos from D.C. to Medford.

Do you care about the school committee and do you want this professional taping ALL city meetings?  Or do you, like Pat Gordon, spit at the cable TV ratepayers and take your extra money from
the school committee and run?

IF Gordon - indeed - ignored his obligation for the 70k a year, your quick decision - or lack of direction AND decision - will give the voters something to ponder in 2021.

Unless, of course, Breanna, you don't give a damn about our city and don't feel like running again.

So many of your supporters are very disappointed in you, Breanna.

City government will go insane when you appoint me.  But the public will love it.

Do the right thing, Breanna.

Respectfully,

Joe Viglione
