So many people have something stupid they did when they were kids. Why are you so intent on judging someone for doing a dumb kid crime?
If it were something against a child or a violent crime, or if he had a string of arrests, I could see this concern.

Lauren? It's his failure to be upfront with all citizens. He must have told of his felony conviction in a campaign speech to his mirror in his bathroom, with the door shut and surveillance turned off. Then, his use of the F word this week when he allegedly told the school committee that students are not allowed to use vulgarities take the cake. Look, someone has an axe to grind with him as the documents on his prison record (his attempt to expunge it) were sent out to multiple people. I got along with Mr. Ruseau and we used to be friends on Facebook. Don't blame the messenger, I'm just appalled that he would use the police department for his own personal "security squad" after his wrong vote on the Columbus School (see Boston Globe)...he was NOT remorseful and was "laughing" about his felony conviction - there is no humility in that guy. Get rid of him, and lots of other members of the school committee and city council. He isn't the only one, but start with him then City Councilor Rick Caraviello for lying to the police and Councilor George Scarpelli for the Otis Mass incident.
