Martha Coakley
46 Coolidge Road
Medford, MA 02155

Dear Ms. Coakley:

When I held the door open for you at the old Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. around the time of the Louise Woodward trial (she was convicted October 30, 1997) it was obvious to me that you and other politicians understood the importance of Public Access TV.  I would see politicians gather around Somerville Community Access Television where former State Rep Vinny Piro experienced part of his Waterloo.    You approached me at Dempsey’s on or about September 16, 2013 and my comment to you was “How can we elect you as Governor without access TV in Medford.”  You told me you would look into it.   I shook your hand and former Telecommunications Congressman Ed Markey’s hand on or about January 5, 2014 at the inauguration at Medford City Hall and you pointed and smiled – recognizing me and the public access issue when I brought it up again.

Now you are trailing Charlie Baker in the polls my words about access and your campaign seem prophetic.  This Access TV blight in your own backyard caused by your friend Michael J. McGlynn  is a bit of documentation that our Attorney General has dropped the ball in the city where she lives,

with one of the reprobates who allegedly

destroyed access TV,  Ronald Delucia –

unscrupulous “Vice President” of Medford

Community Cablevision, Inc., living at 22

Coolidge Road.  That such a vile and

reprehensible individual is right under your

nose, one that used vulgar language in Alden

Chambers  (off camera, to me and to a

Mayoral   candidate) and declared to the City

Council that he was “guilty of sloppy

bookkeeping” and that if they did anything

wrong they should be “wearing stripes and

breaking rocks” speaks volumes.

Look at these figures:

Medford Transcript, August 20, 2014
According to the 990-EZ tax form Pilleri filed with the Internal Revenue Service, MCC had $133,342 in cash, savings and investments on May 1, 2013. According to Jacobson’s review conducted for MCC, the organization had only $95,555 in expenses for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2014, indicating a positive balance.

The simple math is this, Madame A.G.:    That’s a discrepancy of  $37,787.00

Why haven’t you helped us, as promised?

We need a Governor that can clean up all of Massachusetts, and access TV on your watch is evidence that you failed to act in an appropriate manner, though you appear on access channels in other cities.

Sincerely,

Editor

Martha Coakley: I don’t anticipate that we will raise fees.
Moderator: But it’s not a solid promise?
Martha Coakley: Well, I – Is Charlie pledging? Are you deciding that, in blood, that you’re not going to raise fees?
Charlie Baker: I’m not going to raise fees.
Martha Coakley: Then I’m not going to raise fees, either.
At least she’s honest:
Moderator: Should illegal immigrants get driver’s licenses in the state?
Martha Coakley: I don’t know yet

Mayor Menino on Visual Radio

220,840

Mayor Menino granted Visual Radio an interview back in our early days when we taped out of Stoneham / Woburn.  It is on 3/4" tape but I must have a VHS of the interview as well.

LAST NIGHT on WinCAM our interview with a very famous DJ had him showing photos of Mayor Menino and talking about Menino and Frank Sinatra.  Great stuff.

Thank you WinCAM for finding that video of ours (to play at the 8 PM hour on Public Access because the other video is R rated for the safe harbor.)

The video aired on the PUBLIC ACCESS STATION (I drove by the station last night) but it aired on the GOVERNMENT CHANNEL online.  Don't know why the Public channel wasn't working online, but the show did run both on the web and on the cable in Winchester and some surrounding communities (on Verizon's contiguous channels.)

We'll upload that episode talking about Mayor Menino on Made in Medford soon.

Thank you, faithful readers, for the huge numbers on this website.  Election time brings more interest to Medford matters...and sports host Johnny has said we are the ONLY LEGITIMATE MEDIA IN MEDFORD!

A very famous behind-the-scenes radio person just e mailed and said "YOU ARE GREAT!"

Another person e mailed and said the Mayor's parking plan is frightening.  That video is certainly opening up eyes.

It is our civic duty, it is hard work, and we do it for the community, but we humbly accept the compliments.  Keep reading.

Marks said the outdated meeting continues to be broadcasted on Channel 16.
A DVD copy of each City Council meeting is created for record keeping purposes. However, City Clerk Ed Finn explained a VHS copy also has to be rendered after each meeting because equipment for replaying meetings at the Fire Department requires VHS tapes, a method Marks calls archaic.
Funding
Funds to operate the local access channels come from a 5 percent franchise fee on the Comcast and Verizon cable bills of subscribers in Medford. Franchise fees generated $820,867 in fiscal 2010 and $888,316 in fiscal 2011.

YOU CANNOT WATCH THIS ON TV IN THE CITY OF MEDFORD BECAUSE CITY COUNCILOR RICK CARAVIELLO SKIPPED OUT ON a city council meeting with the critical vote on airing this tv program; CARAVIELLO SKIPPED OUT ON THE COUNCIL VOTE AND  THE RESIDENTS TO GO DRIVE HIS LIMO AND MAKE MORE MONEY.   Caraviello voted for his own pay raise with 3 other councilors, and LIED that it was a unanimous 7-0 vote. It wasn't. 3 Councilors voted NO, but Caraviello lied through his teeth about that, in an e mail.

Mafia induction recording made history 25 years ago in Medford

By

 | Globe Staff   October 29, 2014

Mobsters from throughout New England gathered at a modest home in Medford on Oct. 29, 1989, to baptize four new soldiers, who pricked their trigger fingers, burned Holy cards and vowed to kill for the Mafia — unaware that the FBI was recording every word.
New England Mafia Boss Raymond “Junior” Patriarca said he had made peace with a renegade faction that had recently killed the family underboss in Connecticut and wounded another mobster in a shooting outside a Saugus pancake house. It was 25 years ago Wednesday.

If Don Frankie, Don Harvey and Don Ronnie pricked their itchy trigger fingers in the dirty, filthy toxic waters underneath 5 High Street, it would be pricks pricking themselves at the now defunct "allegedly" crooked non-profit. Think about it.

Vote for your own pay raise and then walk out on the job to moonlight

220,546

Do the voters of Medford Massachusetts realize the serious nature of an individual voting for his own pay raise, then waltzing out of the City Council and failing to vote on an important issue because he chooses to go double dip, making extra money with his own limousine service?

The City Councilor in question, Rick Caraviello, is angry at the messenger, for reporting his wrongful conduct.

Who the hell do these people think they are VOTING FOR A PAY RAISE and then leaving the Council Chambers while the COUNCIL IS IN SESSION because that particular councilor, WHO VOTED TO PICKPOCKET THE TAXPAYERS OF MEDFORD AND GIVE HIMSELF A RAISE, DOESN'T FEEL LIKE DOING ANY WORK THAT NIGHT...HO HUM...HE'D RATHER BE DRIVING A LIMOUSINE AND MAKING EXTRA CASH THAN DOING HIS CIVIC DUTY ...AS WELL AS HIS FINANCIAL OBLIGATION TO THE VOTERS AND THE TAXPAYERS.

ADAM KNIGHT
RICK CARAVIELLO
FRED DELLO RUSSO, JR.
PAUL A. CAMUSO

ALL VOTED FOR AN OBSCENE PAY RAISE

CARAVIELLO SENT THIS EDITOR AN E MAIL LYING THAT THE 6 OTHER COUNCILORS ALL VOTED UNANIMOUSLY FOR THE PAY RAISE

HE EITHER THINKS WE ARE STUPID OR HE IS FLAGRANTLY THROWING IT IN OUR FACES.

1)THE COUNCILOR, CARAVIELLO, VOTED FOR HIS OWN PAY RAISE IN EARLY 2014

2)CARAVIELLO BASICALLY TOOK THE SUMMER OFF ALLEGEDLY GOING TO EUROPE INSTEAD OF SHOWING UP AT ONE OF THE TWO SUMMER COUNCIL MEETINGS

3)CARAVIELLO SKIPPED OUT ON THE VOTE ON THE PAY-TO-PARK DVD, A VERY IMPORTANT ITEM TO THIS WRITER, SO THAT CARAVIELLO COULD GO DRIVE A LIMO AND MAKE MORE MONEY

4)THEN CARAVIELLO LIED ABOUT IT AND FALSELY CLAIMED THAT 'SIX' OTHER COUNCILORS VOTED UNANIMOUSLY FOR THE GLUTTONOUS PAY RAISE.

NO, RICK, YOU KNOW FULL WELL THAT YOUR ILL-ADVISED ACTION WAS PUBLISHED IN THE MEDFORD TRANSCRIPT.

YOU ARE EITHER DELUSIONAL OR CONNIVING AND WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT DELUSIONAL.

SO DO THE MATH.

THE VOTERS WILL GET A CHANCE TO ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2015, WHEN THE FOUR COUNCILORS THAT VOTED FOR A BLOATED PAY RAISE WILL BE ADVERTISED AS DOING IT...

Council "President" Paul Camuso SHUT DOWN a legitimate discussion about the pay raise with a stupid move slamming the gavel down that should come back to haunt Camuso come 11/3/15 when the voters have a chance to throw the bum out.

Camuso: "Is that a threat???" (as a person dragged Camuso out of Alden Chambers saying "it's not worth it.")

Editor: "No, Paul, IT'S A PROMISE!"

The new draft of the Class Action Suit letter to attorneys

220,307 all-time page views

Mark Rumley, City Solicitor
Stephanie Muccini-Burke, Budget Director
Mayor McGlynn c/o Mary Merrill
Medford City Hall
85 Geo P Hassett Drive
Medford, MA 02155

Dear Solicitor Rumley, Ms. Merrill and Ms. Muccini-Burke:

As you know I have met with (and even interviewed on TV) class action suit attorneys and other lawyers regarding possible litigation against the City of Medford.   Mr. Rumley, you clearly stated that you would rather negotiate than litigate.  Regrettably, Michael J. McGlynn - clearly - does not feel the same way.

The Mayor has forced our hand.   You know that I am serious as a judge about this issue and that litigation seems to be the only way to stop Mr. McGlynn from being so disingenuous, deceptive and duplicitous on this and many other issues.   When a disabled person wants to host a sports show and McGlynn denies him that right, it is quite literally the Mayor taking advantage of the handicapped.

Please advise Mr. McGlynn that I am actively seeking the right lawyer or law firm to handle this outrageous abuse of power by an elected official that two city councilors noted is behaving like a "dictator."

You, Solicitor Rumley, likened Frank Pilleri's abuse of MCC TV3 with activities one would expect in "Havana."   There is no doubt that McGlynn was Pilleri's inspiration - and look at where Pilleri is today, cast out and disgraced.

Does Michael J. McGlynn want to appear on the witness stand and answer the questions he refuses to answer that elected officials (the City Council for one) ask him to answer repeatedly?

We need our access TV now.

Here's my letter going out to attorneys.  The City of Medford ignores this at its own legal peril.

Sincerely,

Editor
Medford Information Central

P.S. my next speech at the Council on November 18th will be the reading of this letter

_____________________________________________________________________

Last night at the Medford City Council I brought up the idea of litigation against the City of Medford.  A City Councilor then said, and he didn't come to his decision lightly, that a class action suit may be necessary.

Here are what I believe are the reasons:

1)Michael J. McGlynn, the Mayor of 27 going on 28 years, is the "Issuing Authority" over P/E/G television, Public, Educational and Governmental.  The Mayor has had no access TV in the city since on or about December 17, 2012, and prior to that, the non-profit was deemed by a retired judge, in a report paid for by the taxpayers of Medford, to have been operating a "private" access station.

2)Along with Comcast and Verizon cable tv subscribers/ratepayers not getting the services their "franchise fee" pays for - including but not limited to training on how to use computers (a very valuable service,) training on how to work a camera and tripod, training on how to cablecast their programs, training in lighting, all of this does not exist in Medford, though we residents pay for it.

3)Hank Phillipi Ryan investigated Mayor McGlynn's residential parking permit program.  It is my belief, based on Ryan's investigation, that McGlynn took money from residents and never gave the service that those residents paid for.  From the transcript of the show

Hank: "People are paying for resident parking and yet people with no stickers are using their spaces. What are they getting for their money?"
Mayor Michael J. McGlynn, Medford: "We recognize there's a problem."

But no one told that to the residents--who paid extra--and expected priority parking.

Hank "So you knew those people weren't getting tickets?"
Mayor Michael J. McGlynn, Medford: " Oh. we knew. Absolutely we knew."

3)Then there's the water and sewer rate, which McGlynn allegedly overcharges, and then uses the account allegedly as a piggy bank allegedly when the city is short on funds.  I am not as well versed on this issue as I am on P/E/G access TV, but the issue is there.

On McGlynn's watch there have been problems with the West Medford Hillside Little League (Stanley Komins and his son, Steven Komins, have been arrested and are going to trial,) the TV3 webmaster has been arrested twice in the past year or so - 9/4/13 and 7/8/14, the Attorney General's office responded to my public records request on P/E/G access that they couldn't reply at this time because of "law enforcement" issues.

Martha Coakley, running for Governor, is a Medford resident who personally told me in September of 2013 that she would look into it.  She has done nothing of substance that the ratepayers can see, though I know she personally appeared on Wakefield TV (where I am a member) and Winchester TV (where I am also a member.)

The Comcast contract is set to expire on April 20, 2015.  Right now I believe Mayor McGlynn is contractually obligated to provide access, which he is not doing.

With the Mayor’s Community Access TV committee having given its thin report with zero information from McGlynn’s office on the future of access TV, Mayor Michael J. McGlynn is now in violation of a “good faith” obligation to the taxpayers, cable TV ratepayer/subscribers, and the businesses, civic groups and residents of Medford.

I would like to speak with you at your earliest convenience if this case interests you.

Late Fees case

On March 23, 1993, Sacramento Cable instituted a $5.00 late fee on cable bills. These fees soon became the most common subject of complaint received by the Commission.[1]
On July 25, 1994 a major class action suit (Selnick v. Sacramento Cable) was initiated over the legality of these late fees, which it was contended violated California law.[2][3] This suit grew out of the Commission's investigation into the issue. The case was settled, and new legislation on late fees was drafted.[4
