Three Medford neighbors honored for rescuing accident victim from burning vehicle

Medford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn and Fire Chief John Freedman, honored three Medford residents who came to the aid of a driver trapped in a burning vehicle on the evening of April 7.

The SUV hit a tree on Lawrence Road, broke apart and came to rest in front of a Pat Theberge’s Lawrence Road home. Theberge, along with neighbors Robert Camelio and Bill Radochia, rushed to the driver’s aid, using fire extinguishers in an attempt to put out the fire. As the fire continued to burn, they pried open the driver door and pulled the man to safety.

Joshua Eisnor, 43, of North Reading, has agreed to plead guilty in connection with conspiring to distribute controlled substances, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston.

While working as a firefighter at the Malden Fire Department, Eisnor distributed controlled substances to other members of the Malden Fire Department, prosecutors say.

The charge of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.

\\The first time I ever encountered former mayor Michael J. McGlynn I was volunteering in the freezing cold to tape the lighting of the Medford Christmas Tree.   McGlynn said to me smiling "Steve Marra, good guy."

When Mark Rumley and Mike McGlynn allowed Frank Pilleri to shut down the Jan 19 election after the community's long, hard struggle against the racist homophobes, it was Rumley and McGlynn ENABLING THE RACISM 

Fast forward to 2022.  Two decades after Marra's infamous and hateful "A fag is a fag, a (n word) is an "n word," a spade is a spade," the devil's disciple, Steve Marra, hardly a Christian, is probably doing whatever it is he does....maybe getting his stomach stapled again, the undignified glutton spending his time munching on Dunkin Donuts, Chinese food and Pizza (nice, healthy combo....no veggies allowed...)...proselytizing on company time, telling you that HIS religion was better than YOUR religion, with no credibility since he was allergic to good hygiene, good manners, and anything resembling professionalism.

 (CNN)A jury has found both Amber Heard and Johnny Depp liable for defamation in their lawsuits against each other.

Depp sued Heard, his ex-wife, for defamation over a 2018 op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in which she described herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse." Though Depp was not named in the article, he claims it cost him lucrative acting roles. Heard countersued her ex-husband for defamation over statements Depp's attorney made about her abuse claims.

Weighing the claims, a jury found that both of the exes defamed each other.

The jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million dollars in punitive damages. The jury awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and no money for punitive damages. Depp sought $50 million in damages and Heard sought $100 million.
