published writer looking objectively at the city and working hard to
correct things. It is the city that is wrong and vicious, and you, Dan,
are a mirror image via your writings that you are every bit as nutty and
nasty as the mayor. All due respect but many in the city - from
Michael Marks to the editor of the Transcript - have called me "spot
on." I'm just saying what the Administration doesn't want to hear. And
you know what, Dan? Your vicious scribblings are EXACTLY the hate that
you point the finger and blame innocent people like me of having.
Well, guess what? When a city is THIS DIRTY one has to roll up the old
shirtsleeves and jump into the mud with the pigs. They want a fight?

Time to get angry that we have a foul-mouthed "First Husband" in
Medford, and that's a fact. But Dan MacGilvray throws rocks and

embarrasses himself when seen in the city. Hurling an expletive at a
debate? Mayor Stephanie married him: she exacted that kind of vulgar
individual on her children. Shame on her. Terrible role models, just

themselves in their private lives. Awful. Exile them, they have no

The head of the project grants Raymond a "gift"; after his brainwashing, he becomes quite sexually active, in contrast to his reserved nature beforehand where he had not even kissed his love interest, Jocelyn Jordan.
In the novel, Mrs. Iselin and her son travel abroad, where she uses him to kill various political figures and possibly Jocelyn Jordan's first husband. Rosie, Marco's love interest, is the ex-fiancee of one of his associates handling the Shaw case for Army Intelligence, making things between the couple tense. The movie adaptations also all but omit the novel's portrayal of incest between Raymond and his mother, only hinting at it with a mouth-to-mouth kiss.
As a child, Mrs. Iselin was sexually abused by her father, but fell in love with him and idolized him after his early death. Towards the end of the book, as Raymond is hypnotized by the Queen of Diamonds, he reminds her of her father and they sleep together.

I'm certainly no prude but to do that, on camera, in front of 2 little children (Falco's kids?) and a 15 year old student running the camera was unconscionable. Mayor Burke is laughing at the stunt. I sent it to Martha Coakley before she left the law firm to join JUUL and she ignored it, even though her job at Foley Hoag was to investigate sex crimes on Beacon Hill. So Rumley wants a CORI check on public access producers and candidates for elected office so Mrs. Mayor Burke can spy on the competition, allegedly. Look at the upside down photo to see just how deep Donato's hand went. He also - allegedly - grabbed Michael Marks from behind the week before at the VFW or something and now Marks allegedly has a job at the State House thanks to Donato, leaving the hospital he was at for many years. While uploading the photo later that afternoon (it taken at 10:30 am 10-15-17 at the opening of the access TV station) the announcer for the Patriots game said "Illegal use of the hands" exactly as I was posting the picture. Go figure.
