Biden aims to counter China's global infrastructure project with new G7 initiative

As part of the new infrastructure announcement, the US said the Group of 7 will be joining partners and the private sector in "collectively catalyzing hundreds of billions of dollars in infrastructure investment for low and middle-income countries that need it."

 

While the investment is meant to counter the infrastructure gap in lower and middle income countries, officials suggested this initiative will be in the ballpark of "hundreds of billions of dollars," but did not provide a more specific number or any tangible information on how much each nation would be contributing.   https://www.cnn.com/2021/06/12/politics/joe-biden-china-infrastructure/index.html

United States, Britain and Canada, who urged stronger action against China for its authoritarian practices, including forced labor practices in western Xinjiang province.

At one point, Biden made a forceful call to other leaders about vocally calling out China's anti-democratic practices, officials said, emphasizing the need to take action.

 

China's New Human Rights Commission

China countered by hiring Rick Caraviello and Neil Osborne as their human rights commissioners:

 

Xinjiang province can benefit with a City Council President who is ignorant, spits on civil rights, drags a journalist into criminal court on false charges which blew up in the faces of Caraviello and Sgt Mackowski, allegedly has sex offender drive kids to the prom vis-a-vis RC Limo Corporation, has constant Open Meeting Law violation complaints hurled at him and who embarrasses himself walking around town with the likes of Mark Tonello - someone that boorish is our kind of guy" a spokesperson for Chinese President Xi Jinping excitedly announced.

 

"Meatheads like Caraviello that do damage to the citizenry are most welcome in China, especially near our laboratories."

 

Xi Jinping himself interrupted saying "We embrace the policies of Neil Osborne, mugging it up for the useless weekly Transcript and requesting civil rights complaints which he uses as wallpaper to the detriment of society. Osborne and his duplicity is the kind of frivolous stuffed shirt which will give our country the illusion that we care about the human race as a species.  No one in China ever displayed such selfish chutzpah!  Neil is so audacious."

 

China also wanted Sgt Detective Mackowski but their whaling ship could only hold Caraviello and Osborne...Osborne because of his extraordinarily large ego.  "Oh well, Mackowski brings more decadence to America.  Let him stay to infect a nation" the spokesperson declared.
