ANOTHER
story I broke years ago was hijacked by the Transcript and the young
writer, almost fresh out of grammar school (well, in his 20s) won
some Gatehouse Media award for, you guessed it, Nell, something
published by yours truly first. HA HA.
The original is still the
greatest.
Heck, the Patch wrote a story on May
3, 2012, Jarret Bencks wrote about the Medford Housing Authority board
meeting where I had my video camera rolling. I was gunning
for Bob Covelle but caught my old (now dearly departed friend) Gene
McGillicuddy on tape. Look, I loved old
"Uncle Gene," Mayor
McGlynn's uncle, and didn't want to report him to Governor Deval Patrick
for the conflict of interest. It was strictly business.
I
had to ask Jarret to correct his article and actually tell the world
who really brought down Bob Covelle. (Covelle never thought he would be
exiled; it was my having the Governor remove Uncle Gene that
took McGlynn's uncle OFF of the board as the Governor's appointment that
was how we got
rid of Covelle. Covelle would have survived the Boston Globe articles because Uncle Gene
would have been the vote to keep him on, allegedly.)
And Mark Rumley jumped up at the board meeting to object as if we were in a court of law!
(Rumley stated the week before the Medford Housing Authority was a "separate body politic!" Then why was Mark interfering? You simply cannot trust that attorney, and I'm the living
proof of that!!!!!)
Play Michael Marks soundbite at city hell here when Rumley objected to Marks: "You can't object. This isn't a court of law!"
Credit the Boston Globe for blowing the Medford Housing Authority story wide open.

the city council of Medford...did you know that my attorney from the
Cape Cod area was Sacco's INTERN when he was running for AG...but I

Patrick asked Covelle to resign through a letter from Aaron Gornstein, his housing undersecretary, on Thursday, citing the findings of the federal audit. Patrick also replaced his appointment to the authority's commission Eugene McGillicuddy with Sean Caron. McGillicuddy is related to McGlynn through marriage, he said during a housing meeting in April after being asked about his relationship to McGlynn by Medford resident and videographer Joseph Viglione.\

June 23rd I received the Nunley and Durham papers from a confidential
source and spent a good four hours uploading and working on the story. Got it at 6:41 am, and it wasn't Rumley! HA HA!

story that my dear old pal Rumley just handed to Nell Coakley, most
likely because my blog got about 7,000 hits and climbing. Not the
quarter of a million hits my publisher Billy Tauro at
Somerville News Weekly and Medford News Weekly told me we got for my
D.A. Marian Ryan story on the
117 untrustworthy Brady/Giglio
cops in the county of Middlesex, but still damn good for a city of
around 58,000 residents chock full of apathy.
My former gal pal, No News Nell, wasn't at City Hall on June 23, 2021 AFTER I broke the story earlier in the day.
Gee, this reporter was there. Working hard to get the story out first.

ON JUNE 25, 2021 WHEN THE PATCH RAN WITH MY STORY, THEY ATTRIBUTED IT TO MY FORMER EDITOR, NELL ESCOBAR COAKLEY,
WHO HAS CALLED ME 'SPOT ON' WHEN IT COMES TO REPORTING
"They
all thought you were crazy," Nell said to me in the Transcript office,
"Then one by one they came here and said Joe Viglione was right."
I get that lots! According to legend, Councilor Michael Marks in April of 2018 said at the TV station "Joe Vig was right."
For two decades I have reported on Medford Politics and we have broken many a story.
We got the L'Italien Report on police misconduct out of then Solicitor Rumley's "cold, unclean hands."
As
much fun as my having Judge Yee in Somerville District Court throw
Rumley (and by extension, corrupt Sgt. Mackowski) off the witness stand
with
my simple Pro se "Objection, your Honor." What was it Yee said, oh
yes, "Irrelevant testimony." Rumley was under subpoena from a violent
stalker
that the judge slapped with a FOUR YEAR harassment
protection order to protect me and my household. I believe the stalker
broke into my
home in May of 2014 when I was at the Book Expo in New York hanging out with Dr. Ruth and a multitude of book authors.
Mayor
Lungo Koehn needs to read that carefully. The ex City Solicitor and
the Sgt (Mackowski, now knee deep in a criminal investigation of council
VP Adam Knight) was wasting taxpayer monies (as was
jackass Sgt Mackowski) under subpoena from a violent stalker when both
the sarge and the solicitor could have told the court they had
no information. Instead, curious Rumley got Dorothy's bucket of water
to embarrass him and have him thrown off of the witness stand. The melting of that old wicked witch courtesy of yours truly. God Bless Judge Yee!

started and published an investigation into Attorney Rumley (part time
in Malden lawyer, former
Medford City Solicitor.) I move to
Malden, Rumley starts work in Malden. Mark, do you have a crush on me,
or did you get the stalking itch via osmosis from Judge Yee's
courtroom?
Only Mark Rumley's hairdresser knows for sure, and since
Marky Mark has gone bald, she ain't saying nuthin', man!
What can I say? The gay caballero strikes again.
