 Reality Check on the Medford Transcript. When I was an independent contractor for them (Gatehouse Media,) the Transcript would time-release stories to keep the paper fresh. But with the Marathon bomber on the front page (why publish his name repeatedly, making him infamous?) the stories on Medford are few and far between...and you've seen all the drama that we've been publishing. That's how city hall gets away with it, little or no media. They took the TV station away, the Transcript is on life support and the owner of the Patch bought the national local media to re-sell it, and never did (or could!)
