MEDFORD COVID INFORMATION

This is Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn with a COVID-19 update.

Beginning in January, our Board of Health team will be holding weekly 1st dose, 2nd dose and booster shot vaccine clinics at Medford High School for students ages 5-18. The first clinic at the High School will be on Wednesday, January 5 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m, and will continue every week for the remainder of the month. This clinic is open to Medford Public School students only and doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available. Students 16 and over will also be eligible for a booster shot as well. Registration is required.

The city is also holding weekly clinics at the Council on Aging at 101 Riverside Ave for ages 16 and up. The first clinic is on Friday, January 7 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will run weekly for the remainder of the month. First and second doses as well the booster shot will be available at this location. Registration is required.

Vaccines are our best tool in protecting people from the most serious effects of the virus. If you or your eligible child haven’t gotten vaccinated yet, please consider registering for one of our weekly clinics.

Also, the 2022 Inauguration will be held on zoom (https://zoom.us/j/94158735093?pwd=WGR6RDFNVVVmOWhUSmIxQTE5WXNuQT09) and live on Medford community media Comcast channel 22 and Verizon channel 43 at 10am this Sunday morning.

I hope you have a healthy and safe new year!
