10:14 pm Twitter, Medford Police
Heard horrible sound around 9:20 pm . Now a ton of police cars and sirens at 10 pm I'm on Charles St. on the Malden Side looking towards Salem St., the vehicle is on the other side at the Target entrance (Vehicle or vehicles) ...what concerns me is how many police cars showed up, can't be good though we pray for those involved. So many police and rescue and tow truck. Say some prayers

JV RESPONDS: No. I was watching TV and heard a loud bang. Then there was silence. It was strange as most people have cell phones so I was expecting to hear sirens but the traffic was flowing as if nothing happened. It took ten minutes or so before police and rescue arrived and now it is still massive police force out there. 10:20 pm About an hour now.
