Intimacy Coordinator Needed at the High School between the Teachers? And a CORI check for your grandma....

jv's two cents, and I intend to write more about this: 2 actors get paid to perform pornography. There is little or no regret days after, this is what they chose to do to earn a living. Mainstream actors and actresses shouldn't face Harvey Weinstein types, that's an absolute, however if an actor or actress is uncomfortable with a script, they should bow out of it. Jennifer Aniston played a straight woman, Paul Rudd a homosexual in The Object of My Affection. They were alleged to have had an affair during the filming. Who cares? At least they performed onscreen professionally. If one is going to film art they should not be harassed, however if they get a script and want to get paid to perform a sex scene, and they willingly accept money to do it...be thankful you have a job that you like.

“You got placed in these uncomfortable or even harmful positions because the whole culture is ‘yes, and … ,’” said Valleri Robinson, the head of the university’s theater department, who advised Ms. Steinrock on her master’s degree and Ph.D. “It really started to come to the foreground for her that this was a problematic way of creating art.”

Ms. Steinrock and Ms. Rodis met through Ms. Steinrock’s then-boyfriend, now husband, who is a fight director. Ms. Rodis recognized a kindred spirit, with all the makings of a great intimacy coordinator, in Ms. Steinrock. She mentored Ms. Steinrock on her first gig: a 40-person orgy on the TNT show “Claws.” “She was thrown into the lion’s den, and she absolutely smashed it,” Ms. Rodis recalled.
