Lungo-Koehn Administration has FINALLY stopped telling residents, illegally, that each e mail from city hall was private and confidential

This Lungo-Koehn Administration has FINALLY stopped telling residents, illegally, that each e mail from city hall was private and confidential. After months of this writer telling she and her subordinates that letters to and from city hall are all public records, they finally backed down. But at what cost to the citizens that they lied to about public records being private and confidential? Please note: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts considers most electronic communications to and from public employees to be public records and disclosable under the Massachusetts Public Records Law and its regulations. *Please consider the environment before printing this email.*
  • BECAUSE OF THE THEFT OF OUR PUBLIC ACCESS STATION THAT I SPENT A SMALL FORTUNE ON, BREANNA IS ON NOTICE THAT I HAVE MANY ESSAYS ABOUT HER PRIVATE WAY OF DOING PUBLIC BUSINESS, JUST AS BAD AS RICK CARAVIELLO. WE NEED A STRONG, NEW MAYOR WHO CARES ABOUT THE PEOPLE, NOT ONE LUSTING FOR POWER, CALCULATING AND DENYING BASIC CIVIL RIGHTS AS BREANNA DID WITH E MAILS AND THE INCOMPETENT TV STATION THAT DOESN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO TEACH YOUR KIDS SIMPLE COMPUTER SKILLS AT THE TV STATION https://www.bostonglobe.com/2023/03/09/metro/dizoglio-moves-to-audit-legislature/?s_campaign=breakingnews:newsletter

With the move, DiZoglio dove headfirst into politically fraught territory. A legislator herself for the last decade, the Methuen Democrat is poking a powerful body that wields wide control over her budget, and which might be wary of being subjected to an audit by someone who spent years railing against chamber leaders.
Weeks into her first term, DiZoglio is also taking a legal gambit, attorneys and former state officials said. It’s not clear whether she has the statutory or constitutional authority to dig into the Legislature. That means that should lawmakers resist her efforts — at least one has already signaled that’s likely — a judge could ultimately have to decide whether she can unilaterally probe the separate branch of government. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2023/03/09/metro/dizoglio-moves-to-audit-legislature/?s_campaign=breakingnews:newsletter
