TV3 Violates Public Accommodations Law
TV3 Violates Public Accommodations Law
Kind, courteous whistleblower Joe Viglione files a CIVIL RIGHTS complaint on Patrick Gordon 2/13/2020 with Attorney General's office
______________________________________
The City of Medford under McGlynn and Muccini-Burke did NOT respect Public Accommodations
Chapter 272, Section 98
_____________________________
It is a law violated by Patrick Gordon presently at our publicly funded "private access TV station" and his violation of the law is just one of the many reasons Gordon, a hire of Muccini-Burke, must be fired.
The AG's office has the complaint, and yours
truly is going to contact a number of attorneys and a number of agencies to stop Gordon from interfering in Medford's free speech rights.
Why hasn't Chief Buckley investigated Mr. Gordon and his discrimination tactics, arrested Gordon and had him arraigned for the violation of this law? Section 98: Discrimination in admission to, or treatment in, place of public accommodation; punishment; forfeiture; civil right
If Buckley doesn't do his job, we'll file a complaint on him as well.
______________________________________
The legal gloves are off. Now it is time to achieve our free speech goals. Do your job, chief of police, and open the doors of access television to the community without a stupid CORI check and policies and procedures which deny rights rather than facilitate local programming, what our franchise fees pay for.

Section 98. Whoever makes any distinction, discrimination ... or his treatment in any place of public accommodation, resort or amusement, as defined in section ninety-two A, or whoever aids or incites such distinction, discrimination or restriction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than twenty-five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, and shall be liable to any person aggrieved thereby for such damages as are enumerated in section five of chapter one hundred and fifty-one B; provided, however, that such civil forfeiture shall be of an amount not less than three hundred dollars; but such person so aggrieved shall not recover against more than one person by reason of any one act of distinction, discrimination or restriction. All persons shall have the right to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities and privileges of any place of public accommodation, resort or amusement subject only to the conditions and limitations established by law and applicable to all persons. This right is recognized and declared to be a civil right.

The violation of is wrong and Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn needs to stop the nonsense immediately.
____________________________________
Breanna is well aware of my essays to the city council for the past fifteen years - I can remember the voices and their complaints.
The wife of Vincent Mase, who was actually a board member of TV3, echoed my point of view regarding learning how to use computers at public access at no extra cost, and how important it was for her daughter to obtain those skills.
________________________________
That's exactly what we were fighting for, and the then TV3 station manager, basically a juvenile and student at Emerson, was smug and responded in a deficient manner.
________________________________
SO if you want to save the $600.00 or so that companies charge for computer classes in Boston - you should be able to learn at your public access station without putting up with a condescending attitude from Gordon that I faced when I spoke to the cable advisory committee.
____________________________________
These classes are essential, as are your protected First Amendment rights. I request Chief Buckley look up the case Demarest vs. Athol/Orange to see how egregious Mr. Gordon's conduct is.
_____________________________________
Gordon, like many in the world of access, is out of his depth and just wants to hold on to a paycheck, access producers be damned.
_________________________________
We are speaking to multiple attorneys about bringing this to court if the city doesn't come to its senses and stop drinking phony policies at access - Mark Rumley's Kool-Aid concoction that is deadly to the First Amendment, a violation of ex solicitor Rumley's oath, and as poisonous to free speech as Jim Jones' toxic mix in Guyana which led to a mass suicide. It's the murder of access television and Gordon's hands are as bloody as Rumley's and any other staffer or board member of the failed access that has ruined community life in Medford.
___________________________________
I am VERY effective and have a good track record of legally and peacefully cleaning up wrongful conduct in access TV back in the 1990s in Woburn/Stoneham (former Woburn Mayor Dever had me on the front page of the paper when we were victorious!,) when I forced McGlynn to shut down TV3 in Medford and when I caught Muccini-Burke and former superintendent Belson violating the Open Meeting Law, something Breanna brought up at a council meeting after I alerted her, Michael Marks and Mea Mustone.
_____________________________
One of my lawyers calls me the Avenging Angel of Access TV - and communities like Winchester, Somerville, Melrose and Malden also benefit when I have the courage to point out the reprehensible sexual harassment (Somerville, Winchester, Medford,) violation of a restraining order (Malden, as well as a different board member causing a ruckus at Logan Airport,) hate speech ( board member Francis Goodhue at Melrose Access saying "There are no fags here") etc. etc. Their bad behavior is simply not right and this veteran of access dating back to my first show in 1979 will not stand for it.

This writer shut down TV3; this writer obtained the L'Italien Report, this writer fights for YOUR rights and effectively works for your benefit.

You want to fracture our community by engaging in such bad conduct you do so at your own legal peril as this peaceful old man is watching. Closely.
_______________________________________
Councilor Rick Caraviello lost in criminal court on 1/31/17 after he lied to the police, allegedly lied on the witness stand, and abused taxpayer monies from Medford and the Commonwealth for his vendetta. I exposed Caraviello as the fraud that he is. Why isn't he in prison for lying to the police and why is Medford infected with Caraviello's on-the-fence inability to make a decision in an efficient manner?
_______________________________
For Chief Buckley's penance - for all the egg on his face, throw Caraviello in jail and - finally - protect and serve. Throw Paul Covino in the same slammer while you are at it. And Mackowski. Darn, it'll get crowded in there, won't it?
_______________________________________________
Caraviello attempted to deny me my civil rights vis-a-vis public accommodation. Caraviello is a loser and if you vote for a loser you are a loser. Caraviello's misdeeds and wrongful conduct are key to my discrimination case; the public accommodation law violated by someone who votes for his own pay raise, moonlights when a key council vote comes up to drive someone in his limo (or that's what he told me,) and he tells judge and jury on 1/31/17 he wasn't moonlighting when he told me that he WAS moonlighting.
_________________________________
Did Caraviello lie to a citizen or lie to the court? Either way the on-the-fence useless councilor violated the public accommodation law as he is too thin-skinned to take legitimate criticism By Chief Buckley's standard this is a good man.
_____________________________________
But Buckley's not even shamed or embarrassed when he calls "all good men and women" blacklisted (dishonest) officers - as found by the District Attorney.
______________________________
The hypocrisy is alarming. False charges filed on a journalist when Buckley's boys and girls (inherited from dishonest Leo Sacco, Jr.) can't even put Stephen Lebert in the slammer for threatening to blow a man's brains out.

We want our access TV
The Public Accommodations Law violated by Rick Caraviello, Patrick Gordon
But never fear, Medford, you have the Avenging Angel of Access Television doing his job. I predict that Caraviello and Gordon will be removed sooner than later. Why? Just ask Uncle Gene McGillicuddy (formerly at Medford Housing Authority before I got him booted, thank you Deval Patrick,) ask the board of directors of TV3 Medford. NO ONE thought that stain could be removed, but yours truly has the patience, tenacity and the smarts to throw the bucket of water and have Mark Rumley ejected from a witness stand (9/1/16)
According to Mr. Marks his colleague Adam Knight said: "Fucking Joe Vig's blog got rid of McGlynn"
Marks told me that he replied "Yes, and now he's coming after you."
Well, Mr. Marks, not enough hours in the day to see if Adam Knight violated the law by allegedly using his government computer from his day job to allegedly send out e mails for his political campaign. We can leave that up to Jack Buckley to investigate, ahem, but don't hold your breath.
Kinda gives compensation fraud a whole new spin, doesn't it? If true...
I'm serious as a judge. Let the Public Records Requests fly...we're going to find a solution to this mess.
I've been effective, I shall continue to be effective, so help me God! A calm and peaceful old man using the law to effectively
help the citizens of Medford.
File a civil rights complaint If you believe a company, business, organization has violated your rights, you can file a civil rights complaint with the Civil Rights Division of the Attorney General's Office.
