Don't worry, Malden, Somerville, Winchester, our first order of business is to remove Pat Gordon for failure to perform.
Once accomplished, and it is only a matter of time, we'll push the investigations your way quickly and efficiently...

Why is membership low at access television stations?
To answer that question, answer this question:
Why is arrested and arraigned Sergiu Parfeni on the board of Malden Access TV, to be re-branded UMA?????
Who do they think they are? Medford with its ex board member arrested twice in one year!
Screen shot 2/11/2020
YOU want screaming maniac David Gauthier, pathological liar, around your kids in Winchester with staffers sexually harassing 15 year olds with tales of inappropriate sex talk?
YOU want the President of Somerville Media Center telling you what he wants to do sexually to Mayor Joe Curtatone, at a station where little kids run around like it is Romper Room with mommy and daddy paying $200 bucks a kid for Heather Whack Job to fail to use deodorant when "teaching" classes? Or Bell of the Ball Erica Jones with her obnoxiously loud cackle losing the password to Twitter because she is too busy busy busy socializing instead of doing her job!
Hey, stalking is an art form on Malden TV and part of the job description for being on the board of directors.

First example:
Mrs. Burke used Medford Access TV in exactly the same way as the exited board of directors of MCC TV3 that Stephanie Muccini-Burke railed against while she was on the city council. There are two elements at play here - politicians wanting you to hear their voice with no criticism from you - "my way or the highway." The second and equally egregious aspect of denying the public its soap box: they money. Follow the money. There are problems at Somerville TV, Winchester TV, Malden TV which is currently rebranding itself - with all the problems the self-sabotaging E.D. and board members have had you can see why they need an entirely new name - UMA - which is stupid on its face.
Maybe they're dedicating the facility to actress Uma Therman who knows... so citizens have an uphill battle to the point where Dr. William Wood, Pat Fiorello, Johnny Byers, all passionate about public access, were denied the use of the facility either by bullying or harassment - all three men were made fun of, the Medford TV3 attorney claiming that the late Dr. Wood got his diploma "off of the back of a matchbook."
The intent is to shoo people away and - if you've watched my writings closely - it didn't go so well when they encountered a veteran of the medium spanning 41 years now, 2/3rds of my life.
I'll continue this on www. MedfordInformationCentral.com but know this: if access stations like Malden want to play it their way, not the way the public needs it, there is a journalist fully willing to investigate and, as we saw with Medford, I forced Mayor McGlynn's hand to remove the bad element.
Politicians will cover for bad behavior for only so long. The minute the bad behavior at a public access station is positioned to tarnish elected officials, well you do the math. In Medford those clowns were forced out and embarrassed, and all a good writer has to do is get the facts, present those facts to the public and - with the added problems of people cutting the cord and Donald Trump's FCC licking its chops along with the cable TV providers, the abusive individuals who are delusional that they can "save" access will find out, indeed, just how delusional they are. You have a publicist in Somerville who causes trouble, is the social butterfly, yet she can't find the password to the Twitter account for the radio station. She is too busy harassing the members trying to edit their shows to DO HER JOB. The president of the station and radio station manager have "free speech" mouthing off to the detriment of the children whose parents pay big bucks for baby sitting. Why I wouldn't interview for the job as I believe you can't mix running a radio station with baby sitting little children. It's been a problem at Somerville TV for ages, long before I joined them. The radio station was in limbo as the focus was on grabbing $200.00 per parent or whatever the fee is, times 20 that is four thousand dollars. So the agenda is not the facilitation of programming for its members but making money off of the parents while a member of the station has to listen to the now-president lusting over Mayor Joe Curtatone. You want that kind of buffoonery at access television? It's as bad as having unbalanced people on a board of directors which both Medford and Malden has had to deal with. IN Medford a board member would charge city councilors for commercials and if you didn't pay him off, he would smear you on the television station. A board member profiting from selling air time while directing the station? Really? He was arrested twice in one year, so that ought to tell you something. In Malden a board member stalked an individual and the judge slapped her with a four year restraining order. The idiot E.D. said to me he had to use the "Wisdom of Solomon" which was to violate the restraining order. Incredibly boorish, abusive, illegal and a threat to the children at a station, their parents not knowing some whack job went to a man's home to take photos of him and threaten him with a bloody meat cleaver over the photo she illegally snapped stalking him at his home. The Judge whacked her with 1 year and 3 additional years because he felt too much "animosity." In the process a Medford detective AND a city solicitor were thrown off of the stand for irrelevant testimony - they were phony "witnesses" to defend the stalker. But they hadn't witnessed anything and the judge removed them for being irrelevant to the case. This is Access TV? Then some individual bursts onto the tarmac of Jet Blue and threatens the state troopers. Really? Look if the individual is sick, get him help, but do NOT put him on the board of directors of a TV station. If he is not mentally ill and it was just a publicity stunt, prosecute him to the full extent of the law and hold the E.D. and board of directors accountable. My investigation on this issue is going exactly in that direction. Couple the police reports on the stalker with the Logan Airport incident and - as with Medford and its twice-arrested board member charging politicians for airplay - it's time for term limits and the removal of those who would engage in such antics. Term limits saved Winthrop TV. They told me that before I joined Winthrop it was "as bad as Medford." Do you like that, Medford? Was it a TV station down towards the cape that brought the Medford problem to a town council meeting - Hingham I believe -
as how NOT to do public access?
What a black eye on the city of Medford. Medford is the standard on how NOT to run access television.
Put the pressure on the politicians for term limits, put the ED and board of directors under a magnifying glass, and get rid of those who spit on your First Amendment rights.
Gary Christenson does NOT need the headache but as issuing authority it is his responsibility.
