Dear Director of Public Health O'Connor,

I want to thank you for your service during the wild unknown of the pandemic.

Being on the front lines in Medford is not a job I would want, as much as I like to help people.

Your discussion was important for the citizens watching the council meeting.

I also want to apologize to you for the inappropriate conduct of City Council VP Adam Knight.

A minute or two before 7:38 pm Knight was berating the Director of Public Health blurting out "Sounds like a campaign speech."  

At 7:53 pm - about fifteen minutes later Knight attempted

to shut you down interrupting I believe a different speaker during your presentation, then you returned to Zoom to complete your thoughts.  

See the VOD playback, unless the access station erases the misconduct. 

What Knight blurted out the second time was "Received and placed on file," prematurely,

and it was intended to stop you from continuing and concluding your presentation.

As you may be aware, two months ago today on April 1, 2021, Mr. Knight smashed

the Bank of America door on Mystic Ave, shattering it causing damage that Medford

Police Detective Sgt. MacKowski appraises at about Twelve Hundred dollars.

On the 2nd anniversary month of Mr. Knight's "probable cause," an alleged crime

in which the vice president of the Medford city council is the main suspect, according

to the police, an elected official who should be held to the highest of standards behaved in

an inappropriate and sophomoric way, displaying in public his lack of restraint, his

undisciplined wild temper.

Abusive outbursts from the vice president of the Medford City Council aimed at

the Director of Public Health demands censure by the council. Given the police report

and Mr. Knight's alleged legal jeopardy, the vice president needs to be removed

from the city council and replaced by the person next in line, voted on by the

residents of Medford in 2019.

As I reported Mr. Knight to Neil Osborne during the Muccini-Burke administration, for similar irresponsible conduct, 

this is documented, escalating anti-social behavior by Mr. Knight.

 

The constant recidivism of an individual, Mr. Knight, with a propensity for serial harassment is

additional evidence that Knight must be censured, removed and blocked from elected office

in Medford permanently.

With the violence of April 1, 2021 documented in a police report, citizens now have a right to be frightened around the irrational Mr. Knight.  He is a repeat offender and that just two months to the day of Knight allegedly fleeing the scene of his violent outburst, ALLEGEDLY AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED he does this?  Shame on Adam Knight, no respect for the

head of a department.

The mayor, the police chief, the council he sits on must address

the violence and Knight's constant temper tantrums.  Someone could have

been killed on April 1, 2021, and the outbursts tonight prove that Knight thinks he is

impervious to punishment. 

Mr. Knight harassed the Director of Public Health like a tenth grader shooting spitballs.

Adam Knight is a danger to the people of Medford  Tonight he lashed out at the

Director of Public Health during a pandemic.  Why?

Because Adam Knight was bored with a speech on public health.  Like a 5 year old.

This writer has documented Knight's incessant misconduct.  What will it take for

the council to stop coddling the council VP and initiating censure and removal?
