 Jan 6 hearings start 8 pm on TV tonight, June 9 2022 The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol will hold its first primetime hearing on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET — the first of a series of hearings stemming from its 11-month probe of the events surrounding the riot, including the actions of then-President Donald Trump and his allies. The panel plans to open its case to the public by “connecting the dots” between Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the deadly insurrection.

    WASHINGTON — The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol plans to open its case to the public Thursday night by “connecting the dots” between then-President Donald Trump’s efforts to overthrow the 2020 election and the deadly insurrection.
