Request to Council Vice President Lungo-Koehn:

Suspension of the Rules to discuss if Council should discuss appointments to boards and commissions. March 2011 Mayor McGlynn said he wanted appointments to the Chevalier Commmission and the Cable TV Advisory Commission. He failed to fully fill those boards. Now he’s doing last minute appointments prior to the election.

Reportedly the $121,878.64 (2017) per year City Solicitor was MOONLIGHTING in Somerville as a bill collector for credit card companies, while taking money from the citizens of Medford. The Transcript should ask Mr. Rumley if this is true, and why a huge city like Medford should have a part-time solicitor - if the allegations are true.
