But then again, I'm not like other guys and you can't really compare me to other men because I'm a big kid at heart.

William O'Brien's name appears in an indictment in the 1994 armored car

Lawmakers blast agency, call for change in hiring criteria
A Team 5 investigation is exposing why the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority has allowed bus drivers with multiple suspensions, moving violations and accidents to be behind the wheel.
NewsCenter 5’s Sean Kelly spoke with lawmakers who are blasting the troubled transit agency for putting all of its passengers at unnecessary risk.
It took criminal charges related to running down a meter maid with a bus last August for the MBTA to pull Lataria Milton from behind the wheel.
Milton pleaded not guilty to the charges against her but Team 5 Investigates’ found her driving record was hardly clean before that.
Milton wouldn’t have been able to renew her license until she paid her car taxes, parking tickets and toll violation. She was also more than 50 percent at fault in a 2010 crash according to her driving record.
The Registry of Motor Vehicles suspended her license at the start of 2007, yet she still drove paying customers around for the MBTA for almost four months.
Joe Pesaturo, a spokesman for the MBTA said T officials didn’t know about any of it. He added that it could never happen again.
In 2009, the MBTA began receiving regular reports from the Registry whenever its drivers had their licenses suspended or revoked.
Team 5 Investigates found that system is failing passengers. The MBTA is still hiring drivers despite their bad records and keeping them behind the wheel even with their suspensions.
MBTA bus driver Forest Queen has a seven-page driving record that reveals since 1994 his license has been suspended by the RMV ten times, mostly for not paying his inspection sticker tickets on time.
One suspension occurred after the MBTA was checking with the registry. The agency put him back behind the wheel after his license was restored.

Brooke Stanton Hurd to donate gift cards to Portal to Hope, a nonprofit
organization offering free services to victims of domestic violence. The
gift cards were made possible by the City and Chamber of Commerce’s
COVID-19 Relief Fund and will be used to support victims of domestic
violence who are in greater need as a result of the pandemic.

On
May 8th I turned 66, and I was very happy, a lot of wonderful things
were happening in my life, embracing the "youth of old age," we rock and
rollers are forever eternal, just ask Mick Jagger. I have a great
roommate, but we had someone living with us who was abusing her tiny
kitten, breaking furniture, hurling furniture around her room night
after night (I'm guessing it was exercise) - ripping a room apart that I
had put new sheets on and spent a good amount of time on. She took the
new sheets for her own room, threw food and wrappers around the
kitchen, a 25 year old general nuisance. Who do you think had to clean
up after her day after day after day?
On
May 15th one of my cats had to have teeth removed, which is traumatic,
but what followed was even more so. The violent woman living in our
home threw me down a flight of stairs yelling that she was going to kill
my cats and kill me. My arm was fractured, though she was aiming to
break my neck. There is a restraining order on her, of course, and she
is facing serious charges of Assault and Battery on an Elder (broken arm
is also listed in the charges.) I couldn't give my kitty his urgent
medicine, I was carted off in an ambulance, just a horrific and
life-altering act of pure hate. The landlord failed to remove her in
January when she was causing trouble night after night, a violation of
the Quiet Enjoyment law.
The
police came to the hospital, I was the second case they were
investigating at the same hospital. The officer told me that if I
didn't go into surgery and spend the night at the hospital, to please
alert him that I was going home. They did not want her there under the
same roof with me. These are Malden officers as I live on a street that
goes directly into Medford, but on the Malden side. 100 yards and I'm
back into Medford.
Well,
some of you know that I am a student of a church that has an aversion
to some medications, not a member of that church or any as I don't
believe in organized religion, but I am a churchgoer. Suddenly there is
morphine and oxy and tylenol being pumped into a system that drinks hot
tea rather than alcohol, and ginger ale and such. It was daunting, it
was terrifying, and my kitties were at home without me while I'm stuck
in a hospital getting X rays and meds and talking to nurses and a kindly
police officer. The hospital released me around 5 pm and when I
arrived home I went into the living room. Three hours later at 8 pm the
doorbell rang. The woman who assaulted me thought she could talk her
way out of it. She was in the kitchen cooking. I figured it was the
police, I had forgotten to call them as they had advised...well...this
pretty clean-from-medicine body was chock full of the hospital's
one-size-fits-all (not!) drugs ...the officer from the hospital and his
partner entered the house and said "Oh, good, he's home" then turned to
me and said "Why didn't you call us?" "Sorry, officers, I'm not myself"
(paraphrased)...they asked me to go to my room so that they could deal
with her. She started to talk to them but they cuffed her / apprehended
her. She couldn't talk her way out of an unprovoked assault (she was
punching me repeatedly and saying she was going to give me COVID -
because of my age, before hurling me down the stairs with all her
might.)
In all of my
66 years I am not aware of any broken bones, sprains, yes, but I'm a
pretty durable guy. This was an awful new experience for me.
Breanna
and Police Chief Buckley can bellow their hot air about domestic
violence. Neither of them give a damn about me, or about you. They are
engaged with a subversive group that reminds me of the woman who threw
me down the stairs. Hate for hate's sake. Just wanting to get some
attention and cause a ruckus. This isn't about ethnicity or drug abuse
or the atomic bomb or Trump being a jerk, this is a real life issue
under COVID 19.
As I
lay crumpled at the bottom of the stairs, unable to move my arm, she
called the landlord and said that she was "Tired of social distancing."
You see, I was feeding my cats around 9:15 am AFTER taking out the
trash and recycling and doing house chores. It takes 5-7 minutes to
feed my kitties, but that woman wanted to use the kitchen and flung the
cat dishes at me, threw three ceramic coffee cups at me, which I caught,
and then she just started landing punches, punch after punch.
In
Medford I was assaulted by the City Clerk, Edward P. Finn. June 16,
2015. It was about the election. Breanna Lungo Koehn did not intervene
or help me in any way, nor did Chief Sacco who sneered at me October 17,
2017 saying "You get the police service that you deserve." You see,
I'm a journalist and the city doesn't like that. A city councilor
intimidated me, and he should have went to prison. He didn't step up,
nor did the police interview him, intentionally. So this feigned
ignorance when it comes to real violence, especially by a city official
who took an oath and was illegally censoring two seniors in Medford (I
have the evidence) and a disgusting police force with 32 Brady Listed
cops but not Paul Mackowski, that dirty son of a bitch, and Paul Covino,
another rat bastard, when dirty filthy officers of the law allow a man
to get beaten and threaten "witness intimidation" for that other rat
bastard, Richard F. Caraviello, don't sicken us, Breanna, with your
bullshit about domestic violence. I have a broken arm, and the city of
Medford has abused me for over a decade and a half.
Chief
Buckley should be investigated and sent to prison for a long stretch
and take Mackowski and Covino with him. Ed Finn got away with abusing a
human being because he wanted to support Stephanie Muccini-Burke in the
election. That, people, is the criminal organization that is the city
of Medford. Richard F. Cararviello lied to the police and possibly lied
under oath to judge and jury. They think they are special in Medford,
and here's the punch line: Breanna and Chief Buckley are playing with a
subversive group. It is going to attract nut cases from outside of
Medford and outside of Massachusetts. The violence in Chicago could come
right into Medford because of Buckley and Lungo-Koehn's disastrous
handling of Mobilize Medford and this pseudo Black Lives Matter with a
bunch of teenagers who don't have a clue about discrimination.
Elder
lives matter. Gay lives matter. But the mayor can give her speeches
and no one came to my rescue when a violent dirty city clerk hit a
citizen because he didn't like my reporting. Breanna Lungo Koehn never
called or asked if she could help a victim of violence, so her
negligence is noted. Maybe she saw the photo of my fractured arm and
ordered up some champagne. It's something that Mackowski and Covino
would do, but consider this, I'm not just the journalist..., attorney Lungo-Koehn.

Dear Bill,
My name is Anthony “Tony” D’Antonio and I have been a long time resident
of Medford with the exception of several moves for business which
brought me out of state.
I have been reading your newspaper and am happy to see that some news about Medford is being published. For the record, we really do not have a newspaper here in Medford, with the exception of the Transcript which is really not dedicated to Medford issues in the way it should be.
I recently read a letter in your newspaper from the mayor of Medford
regarding a recently held rally to show support for the police. Her
statements fall under the category of disingenuous and she is guilty of
turning her back on those who got her elected.
I would like to write a rebuttal to her letter and have it published in your newspaper, if possible.
I ran for mayor of Medford two times against Mayor McGlynn and most
recently for city council this past election. My campaign was cut short
as I went through unexpected open heart surgery and simultaneously was
diagnosed with cancer; which as of yesterday, completed my radiation
treatments.
I would appreciate the possibility of being able to write an opinion
piece or two over time regarding the goings on in Medford politics and
to have them published.

Madame Mayor,
I read your article published in the July 21st edition of the Somerville/Medford News Weekly, where you stated your desire and insistence to share your thoughts relating to the recent “Support the Police Rally” held at Medford City Hall, July 15th, Wednesday.
You stated that you wanted to be very clear about where you stand.
Well yes, you certainly were very clear. And, it was not with the hardworking, decent citizens of Medford, who, I may add, pushed you over the top to become the Mayor. For the third time, you threw the citizens of Medford “under the bus”. Try as you may, you cannot slither out of this one with a smile, cupcakes and fruit punch.
Where has your dignity and integrity gone?
Let me put the truthful facts forward, not the “facts” you were mentored to proffer by your staff.
The rally was held to show support for our police and police everywhere, not a rally for BLM’s lives, minds and voices as you tried to infer. The attendees showing support for the police were very orderly, sang patriotic songs, family oriented and peaceful! It was like a family reunion. There were no speeches.
You stated that you met with the organizers of the rally to make sure that it could be handled safely. That was an insult to us all; making it sound as if we were a group of trouble makers.
How dare you twist the facts to make it seem that we used disgusting, abhorrent language and directed it towards the agitators who showed up at the end of the rally to cause a disturbance? Your admonishment should have been directed towards the BLM group who used such foul language and tried their best to create conflict… It’s on video for all to see; you can’t hide from the truth. They failed at disrupting the peaceful rally as they were ignored. Why did you not make mention of this?
Another fact you twisted was that you refused, along with the police chief to speak at the rally; truth is we did not want you to talk.
Your article centered more on another rally held at Hormel Stadium by BLM, Mobilize Medford and Our Revolution and how wonderful it was to be there. Who were you trying to placate?
To show your disdain for the police rally, you stated that you felt this rally would not be helpful to further the important discussions that are ongoing in Medford about systemic racism, equity and policing. Shame on you for making such a callous statement. You capitulated and signed a letter, along with several other cities and towns, declaring a health emergency due to systemic racism in our city. Again, Medford citizens get tossed under the bus. In one fell swoop you called every resident in Medford a racist. This is so wrong!
What is really ironic is that you were a councilor for many years and bragged about the cohesiveness, the diversity and how well we all got along in the city. You also mentioned how we accommodated students who spoke 37 different languages in the city. And now we’re all racists?
You have some nerve, and yes, you have been exposed for what you are and it certainly declares that you are not qualified to be running a city of 58,000 people if you cannot stand up to a group whose intent is to bring Medford down!

Councilor Breanna Lungo-Koehn says she notified police last week after
multiple school employees brought the issue to her attention.
"I
was shaking, not only because of what was found, but the fact that it
was found on Dec. 28 and, from what I understand, it was thrown away,"
said Lungo-Koehn.
Medford
Schools Superintendent Roy Belson acknowledged the principal may have
thrown away the magazine after a custodian left it in his office, but
Belson has not said why the discovery wasn't shared with parents and
teachers.

we are, August 2, 2020 and the new rumor is that Breanna's negligent
police chief, Jack Buckley, is purportedly kissing up to a subversive
group and allowing them to videotape and photograph police training.
Some simple math: Breanna ran on TRANSPARENCY and INTEGRITY, two qualities sadly lacking in / by / from this administration
---Breanna allegedly had secret meeting at Dunkin Donuts after the election and before her inauguration
Secret meeting was with a union allegedly and her mortal enemy Adam Knight.
How
did that work out for you, Ms. Unity? Madame Knight extends her

Linda Evans in Dynasty. Maybe Madame
Knight and Madame Mayor will jump in Wright's Pond and slug it out
like Krystle Carrington and vengeful schemer Alexis Carrington - the
famous witch fight in the pool! And remember, Joan Collins' first
movie was Lady Godiva Rides Again, which is about as transparent as
Breanna Lungo-Koehn is going to be for this city, naked and frightened
and getting nothing of significance done when the voters had such high
hopes for her.

Look,
the sad fact is that I can go on and on and on about the misdeeds of
the police department, but it's 8:01 on a Sunday morning 8/2/2020 and I
want to enjoy my Sunday, it is summer, after all.
And
speaking of all, all I want for Christmas is to see Black Lives Matter
hold Paul Covino down (hog-tie him if you have to) and let them magic
marker a swastika on his bald head.

The
second video is Black LIves Matter chanting "F--- the Police" on city
hall steps about 45 minutes after the peaceful conclusion of the rally.
The
third video is of the verbal incident between the Mobilize Medford
leader and a member of a Medford Motorcycle Club which happens 27
minutes after the rally ended. The leader is yelling to the crowd and
says "This f---ing flag....".
The
member shouts back with " do you speak to your mother with that
mouth.....she should slap you.....If you were my kid, I'd would kill
you".
The
leader shouts out "go ahead slap me...slap me.... I dare you slap
me.... officer I want to file a complaint......" This incident can be
viewed also in the first video at the 44 minute mark where the man who
is filming says "that's nice language".
