Rumley and Buckley Perpetrated a Fraud on the Citizens of Medford Oct 1, 2019

They called compensation fraud a "personnel issue."

Vicious Mark E. Rumley "retiring" was the best thing to happen to the city of Medford

Medford - you know that if you remove Caraviello, Scarpelli and Adam Knight they would be replaced by Natalie Breen, Erin DiBenedetto and Jean Nuzzo.

You want real change?

We're asking for a NO CONFIDENCE vote and REMOVAL of KNIGHT, CARAVIELLO and SCARPELLI, especially because Caraviello lied to the police and may have lied under oath in criminal court.

Caraviello lost in criminal court.  A reason why a NO CONFIDENCE VOTE and REMOVAL of Caraviello is something I am putting on the agenda, and soon

Breanna Lungo-Koehn told the new police chief: "They're Afraid to Speak Up."  The only councilor that had the strength to buck the
system, and now she's mayor.
Deservedly so.   This article might not lead to my writing the sequel to Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People," but I've never indulged in Medford's myriad pseudo popularity contests. Pretension and insincerity are best left to the Medford city council, they're the experts on that.

Watching the 10/1/2019 city council meeting again for clarification - where Police Chief Buckley is attempting to control the conversation - made it clear why we need another news organization in this city.  The Medford Transcript never asks the tough questions - indeed, the four essays come election time praising the ousted mayor, Muccini-Burke was hardly balanced, nor was it fair.  The Patch is the Patch but no media, online or on the streets, does the real heavy lifting, gives the citizenry the information they should be getting from elected officials.

Most troubling was how - except for Councilor Breanna Lungo-Koehn, the other six councilors were lock-step with the city solicitor in calling the compensation fraud "a personnel issue."  It wasn't.  The Secretary of State agreed with me and forced former Solicitor Rumley to knock it off.   Fred Dello Russo Jr., Adam Knight, George Scarpelli, John Falco, Michael Marks - their outrageous use of the talking point "a personnel issue" sent my blood pressure through the roof.  I don't recall Caraviello chiming in on it... usually with foot in mouth - perhaps it was stuck there shoelaces and all during that meeting and that would be a good thing.   Imagine replacing Knight, Caraviello and Scarpelli with the next three people in line for the council - Natalie Breen, Erin DiBenedetto and Jean Nuzzo...what a spectacular city council we would finally have.
