1)It is disappointing, though not unexpected, that Patrick Gordon didn't keep a tally on classes. As lawyers in court usually know the answer to the question before asking, you have documented what informants have complained to me about.
Allegedly, these aren't "classes" with a crowd of people working to learn computers, but Mr. Gordon going "one on one" - thus, we do not know the level of education citizens are getting, and based on the Twitter account and shoddy website, as well as the disorganized video page, one can draw the conclusion that membership is not properly being taught the fundamentals of access television.
Were this a commercial enterprise it would be a scam and MGL 93a letters for Deceptive Business Practices would abound.
I will seek a remedy to ensure City Hall complies with the reality of access television and not this phony private access meant for politicians and insiders, while bullying the community*
*the bullying is inappropriate alleged behavior by Mr. Gordon to certain members who are upset, as well as Gordon's attack when I spoke to the cable advisory board AND the hideous, hateful letter I received endorsing Gordon, which could - allegedly - have been written by Gordon himself. A complaint was filed with Neil Osborne yesterday that I will have a witness sign. I will be discussing this with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
A couple of my colleagues not involved at all with this wonder why City Hall isn't prudent and actually embracing access producers?
Why does City Hall want to do battle with me when I've been effective removing Frank Pilleri from TV3, Gene McGillicuddy from Medford Housing, and informed Breanna Lungo-Koehn about Stephanie Burke's deceptive Chapter 74 board; found Burke, Belson and in another instance Mr. Osborne having violated the Open Meeting Law. I am tenacious and have 41 years experience ...why is city hall being so nasty, non-transparent and downright rude to a citizen?
This is NOT Transparency, Community, Unity. I am a senior citizen and the policies I've been told were designed to pick up on the discriminatory lies TV3 and Arthur Deluca spread to keep me out of access television. See Demarest vs.Athol Orange.
WOULDN'T A BETTER USE OF OUR TIME BE WORKING TOGETHER RATHER THAN HAVE ME INVESTIGATE WHERE THE MONIES ARE AND HOW CITY HALL'S UNETHICAL ABUSE OF CITIZENS DATING BACK THIRTY YEARS OR MORE HAVE NOT CHANGED WITH THE NEW ADMINISTRATION.
2)Attorney Scanlon, I did not ask for the mayor's membership form. Page 1, Part 3 of your letter (Enclosed) is asking for the
documents to mail in videos (or send via e mail links,) "new" policies, not the old ones (so, I assume the mayor has not constructed a new policy based on her administration's idea of free speech and is using Stephanie's leftovers, which fly in the face of the First Amendment.)
I would be happy to develop new policies, paid for my services, of course, that adhere to Mayor Lungo-Koehn's promise of unity and community and sunshine and lollipops and flowers and sugar and sweet goodness and all that...which is not what is being forced down the throat of an unsuspecting community with the current, abominable policies designed to allow politicians to have a free for all and the public be damned.
I will consider appealing the response if I deem documents do exist and are being hidden from the public.
