Dear Honorable Michelle Bachelet Jeria:

Today I heard a wild accusation that the Medford Chief of Police, Jack Buckley, personally removed a sign that said "STOP ITALIAN HATE"

As I am a journalist who is Italian (and a minority person, disabled and a senior!) It is disgusting, if true, given the poor treatment of minorities in the city of Medford.   The gay discrimination and the use of the "N" word, racial discrimination, brought down the TV station.
The mayor (McGlynn, former mayor) didn't stop it, the police didn't stop it, I and my colleagues fought hard and long to stop it.

The civil rights "commissioner" - if you will - Neil Osborne seems to love his paycheck, and not much else. He turns a blind eye to the hate that has been reported to him.  It is simpler that way, you know, his bank account more important than human rights, civil rights, in my opinion.

I will use the Freedom of Information Act to see if we can obtain public documents on this outrageous accusation against a sitting chief of police in Medford, Massachusetts

It is even more discouraging that this journalist has a public records request asking for photographs of a city council vice president, Adam Knight, after Knight allegedly caused a ruckus at the Bank of America, smashed a $1200.00 door, and allegedly fled the scene of the alleged crime.  Knight is facing a criminal complaint from the police which they are taking to a court magistrate - an application for a full criminal complaint on Adam Knight.

I am asking the United Nations to look in to the allegation that a chief of police in Medford Massachusetts willfully and, obviously, maliciously removed a STOP ITALIAN HATE sign from South Medford.

This may have happened at the Curtis-Tufts school in South Medford.  I will be asking sources and will cc: Lisa Kingsley
