MassGOP Chairman Jim Lyons Is a mess~~

Getting rid of the “manager,” in this case that would mean MassGOP Chairman Jim Lyons, would be “a positive thing for everyone, to get better people involved to run for office that have conservative values. I think if you do that then you’d see success,” Cruz said. https://www.bostonherald.com/2023/01/15/cruz-calls-for-new-mass-gop-leadership-after-bad-nov-showing/?utm_email=B47AA4BF04D535F664F99407F9&g2i_eui=RgubftAtS%2BPZ3icRgqbNnp9LwXH2xBea&g2i_source=newsletter&lctg=B47AA4BF04D535F664F99407F9&active=no

It is fair to say Lyons did not have a good general election season as the head of the state party, losing every race on the statewide ballot and leaving the one candidate endorsed by the extraordinarily popular incumbent governor, investigator Anthony Amore, so far out of the loop that party members wrote the chair of the Republican National Committee to ask for intervention.

Last week, the state party treasurer said he had reported Lyons to the state’s elections authorities over concerns he may have violated campaign finance rules during the midterms.
