Council President Threatens Physical Violence: RESIDENT TO PRESS CHARGES

Metal Pipe

"I could have used that a few minutes ago..."

City Council President Robert A. Maiocco looking at a twisted metal pipe that could really hurt someone.

How disrespectful to the residents that Maiocco takes $30K a year from and then degrading, ridiculing and making an outright threat of physical violence and / or murder.

CITY COUNCILOR ENGAGES IN HATE SPEECH AGAINST GAY MALE HE HAD CENSORED A FEW MINUTES PRIOR!

COUNCIL PRESIDENT MADE THE HATE SPEECH after stopping a man from telling the city at the People's Forum that the hate spree in Medford is partly due to the Council's failure to be proactive.

Now it is clear the Council President has violent tendencies and will make a threat on camera to get his point across.  This is beyond bullying.

"Unconscionable in what Council President Maiocco had to say in how he handled you at the microphone, and then his threat when he stated that he could have used that pipe just a few minutes earlier.  That's a bodily threat against a reporter."

Quote from Mayoral candidate John Byers  11:09 PM 4-11-13

"Mr. Maiocco needs to apologize or face repercussions at the ballot box this year because people will not vote for someone who threatens speakers at the podium.  This will continue to haunt him until he makes a proper apology."

Robert A Maiocco, the VP Investments at Wells Fargo made a comment about wanting to physically assault a human being that he disagreed with and censored.

Local resident Bxxxx NXXXX brought a dirty metal pipe called a rebar up to the City Council podium.  It was a big, twisted, ugly thing with no use except to physically hurt someone.

Councilor Maiocco looked at it after having a verbal altercation with a resident a few minutes earlier and states on tape:

"I could have used that a few minutes ago..."

City Council President Robert A. Maiocco

"I won't throw it at you" Resident Bxxx Nxxx replied after Councilor Maiocco made a comment about wanting to hit the editor of this blog with a metal pipe.

On April 10, 2013, two politicians, a City Council candidate and a Mayoral Candidate, Jeanne and Anthony, phoned to tell me that the City Councilor made a strong, violent comment and that it was aimed at this editor.

MAIOCCO REACTING TO A METAL PIPE BROUGHT UP TO THE PODIUM

"I could have used that a few minutes ago..."

City Council President Robert A. Maiocco

Council Candidate Jeanne M. let me know that she felt Maiocco made a threat against me.

Mayoral Candidate Anthony D. on the phone let me know that President Maiocco made a threat against my person.

On April 11 I phoned City Hall, the Clerk's office, to get the times of the rebroadcasts (the cowardly Maiocco didn't make the threat to my face, but right after I left the City Council hall)

On April 11th, after I had the tape in hand, I phoned Mayoral Candidate John Byers who told me he had watched the council meeting and knew that Maiocco had threatened me with physical harm.  See Byers' comments above.

This is the kind of gangster that forced his way into the presidency of the City Council.

The victim intends to press charges.
