Sayed Faisal, 20, was a junior at UMass Boston. Those who knew him said he worked at an area CVS location and that he and his family moved to the region from Bangladesh about 7 or 8 years ago.
"He was a very meritorious student. He was going to the University of Massachusetts. They were hoping someday he would become an engineer or a doctor but now all hope is gone," said a translator on behalf of Sayed Mujubullah, Faisal's father.
"He's a baby. You can't just shoot. This police need to be trained," said Pervin Chowdhury, president of the Bangladesh Association of New England. "I don't understand. City of Cambridge, they don't have a body camera?"
