Johnny’s wake: Dello Russo family put a nice foldout cardboard tribute to John. 

We went 4 pm. Funeral is at 7:30 pm tonight. 2-6-2020. Very sad. 

Last night WEEI radio did a tribute to Johnny. 

This is from my weekly column: First some very sad news. If you are a frequent listener to The Sports Hub or WEEI, the famous frequent caller “John from Medford” has left the building. Johnny passed away on Saturday, February 1, but got to see his lawyer become Mayor of Medford in November of 2019. 

John was also a frequent guest on my TV show, Visual Radio and sat in the studio when comedian Gilbert Gottfriend was on the program. His interview with Red Sox legend Larry Lucchino (now President/CEO Emeritus) is classic. We miss you already, Johnny.
