RE: Caraviello and Knight Violating Rules of the City Council

Hell Clerk Hurtubise:

I am requesting I be ALLOWED to speak and because

Adam Knight and Rick Caraviello violated the rules, they

be suspended from the council while I speak.

On or about December 7, 2021, the vice president of the council,

under criminal investigation by the Medford Police Department 

for smashing a bank door and allegedly fleeing the scene of the crime,

was out of order calling a paper out of order.

Essentially, a non-subversive and very polite request

that the city council go all-volunteer or reduce their

pay, was rejected, without the power to reject, by a

council vice president leeching off of the taxpayers.

Mr. Knight loves to glad-hand, give out birthday greetings,

death notices and anniversary announcements to people

he knows.  Basically, he's using the council in a manner

in which it is not intended to be used in order to campaign

from his bully pulpit.   Seeking votes by overusing a privilege

to say Happy Birthday to individuals who may be nice people,

but they are not public figures the majority of the time and

unknown to the community.   Slobbering Knight wants their

vote and the taxpayers fund this scam, sham and shenanigans.

How disrespectful when the moronic VP doesn't even take an

elocution class for all his mumbling, stumbling and verbal garbage.

Then muttering Caraviello adds insult to injury: they want a pay raise

without even understanding what a public speaker's duties and obligations

are.

My paper should be put back on the schedule, they need to be removed from the Alden Chambers

when I give my speech.   They are power-hungry "autocrats in their own mind."

Medford deserves better than their horsing around with city government.

PETITIONS, Hearings, Orders and Resolutions once rejected

Rule 21.

When any petition, hearings, orders or resolutions has been finally rejected or disposed of 

by the Council or ruled 

out of order by the Council President, no petition, hearings, order or resolution

 embodying substantially the 

same subject shall be presented to the Council within three

 (3) months of its previous writing for its resubmission.

SO, ESSENTIALLY, WITH NO RESPONSE FROM THE CLERK'S OFFICE REPRIMANDING

KNIGHT FOR VIOLATING RULE 21, A COUNCIL THAT HID ADAM KNIGHT BEING THE

SUBJECT OF A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION BY THE MEDFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT,

ENABLING SUCH A CROOKED AND VILE INDIVIDUAL, THERE ARE NO RULES FOR

THE DECADENT CITY COUNCIL, YET TOO MANY RULES FOR THE VOTERS AND TAXPAYERS

FUNDING SUCH A DISORGANIZED AND EMBARRASSING POLITICAL BODY.

A TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT WHEN CARAVIELLO, AND YOU - MR. HURTUBISE -

CAN'T EVEN DRESS PROPERLY as alleged public servants.

Respectfully, Mr. Hurtubise, you, Ed Finn and Caraviello in particular

look like total slobs.   Mr. Knight might get in a suit and tie, but he

oftentimes looks like he slept in the wardrobe for weeks on end.

Wrinkled and stupid looking.  Add that to his motor mouth and inability

to string a coherent sentence together, and you have the Four Stooges.

It's sick, disgusting, inappropriate and not the dollar value the residents

are due.   Behavior like that, caught on camera, in public, makes your

salary and theirs pure theft.  Pure theft. 

Not that you are going to respond to these facts in my favor, we've identified

that this council, the clerk himself and many in city government are dishonest.

By NOT reprimanding Knight and Caraviello, the dishonesty and theft of

taxpayer dollars continues.

 

RULE 9 VIOLATION along with aforementioned RULE 21 VIOLATION

Mr. Caraviello violated Rule 9 by not calling the untrustworthy

vice president out for calling a paper out of order.

DUTIES OF THE PRESIDING OFFICER

This is especially important because Knight may be under the

watchful eye of Somerville District Court since his criminal case

appears to be "continued."  Is Knight on Court Probation and

did his continued harassment of this elder violate his alleged probation?

I am filing a complaint with the District Attorney's office as well as

Somerville District Court.  Knight should be in prison for his constant

misbehavior.   I believe he is a danger to me, and possibly to his own

family.   One thing is certain: Adam Knight is a sick individual.

Caraviello, allowing Knight's wrongful conduct, is equally guilty.
Two corrupt peas in a leaking pod.  

Along with the D.A. and the Court I am hiring a lawyer to press

charges on Knight and Caraviello.   

My good history cleaning up Medford a pattern of success against reprehensible conduct:  

Housing Authority with an inappropriate appointment

which removed Bob Covelle, Mike McGlynn's buddy, the L'Italien
Report exposing Mark Rumley who tried to thwart the release of

the public documents; a judge throwing untrustworthy Rumley off

of a witness stand while he was aiding and abetting a stalker by

attacking me from the stand, Ed Finn snubbing a criminal court

subpoena after assaulting me, etc. etc. etc. 

Rule 9.

The presiding officer shall preserve decorum and order, and shall decide all questions of order, subject to an appeal by the City Council, 

regularly seconded; and no other business shall be in order until the question on the appeal from 

the ruling of the Chair shall be by roll call and shall stand, unless a majority of the votes are to the question of appeal.

Rule 17.

Upon all debatable matters a Councillor shall speak no more than three 

(3) times or more than fifteen (15) minutes on the same issue. 

Any citizen or petitioner shall be limited to ten (10) minutes.

EVERY ORDER OR RESOLUTION MUST BE ENDORSED

Rule 18.

Every Order and Resolution Must Be Endorsed, Filing of Petitions,

For the purposes of this section the following definitions shall apply.

Order: defined as a local by-law enacted by the City Council
Resolution: defined as a paper stating an expression of opinion, fact, principle or purpose.
Petition: defined as an application requesting Council action as required by law.
No Order or Resolution shall be received or acted upon unless endorsed by member of the Council.

The filing of petitions shall be reserved only for matters requiring Council action per law,

 including but not limited to 

special permits, grants of location, sign variances and common victualler licenses. 

Only petitions filed meeting this criteria shall be assigned a Council Paper Number.

All other petitions filed shall be placed on the public participation portion of the agenda and not assigned a Council Paper Number.
 
  

I currently live in Malden on the Medford line.  As the Medford city clerk said to me, (paraphrased)

I might as well be in Medford

as I'm 50 yards away on Charles St., which extends from Malden INTO

 Medford, one of the few streets that has the same
name in both cities.

I lived in Medford from Dec 2003 to May of 2018 and paid a quarter of a million dollars

 in rent at that time.
They've been an abusive council for decades, but the more they get away with, 

the further they push the envelope

Just because Knight and Caraviello have no real standing in the community while I

am an ambitious and excellent reporter is no reason for me to be harassed by

two alleged criminals.

However, as I am a Medford reporter and have been for the better part of 20 years, 

what I have to say is of great public interest: Reducing the Pay of the Medford City

Council.

By denying me the chance and opportunity to enlighten the public, they have

violated their oath of office for selfish reasons which are a danger to the pocketbooks

of every Medford taxpayer.

than any human being could ever count.

I know this frightens dishonest politicians like Knight and Caraviello, and all the more reason

why they need to be held accountable for violating their oath of office, as well as Caraviello

lying to the Medford police and found in court to have filed false charges, potentially (allegedly)

committing perjury as well when asked if ever he moonlighted on the city council.  Caraviello

told the judge and jury "no," when he had left a council meeting telling me he had to drive for

RC Limos, his own company, WHILE GETTING PAID TO BE ON THE COUNCIL.

Put my paper back on the agenda where it belongs.

The Council paycheck is of great public interest.
Some alleged criminal like Adam Knight shutting down speech

is a violation of both his oath of office and council rules

The architect of censorship in Medford, Mark E. Rumley, might sanction 

(as in, official permission or approval for an action.)

but this writer believes the entire council, you, and Rumley should be SANCTIONED 

(as in a threatened penalty for disobeying a law or rule.)

You got suspended, Mr. Hurtubise.

I call that, one down, many more to go.

What censorship can they concoct next week to violate their oath of office even further?
