Three suspects arrested in connection to illegal possession of firearms and the sale of illegal drugs

The officers smelled the burning marijuana as they arrived. They were concerned with the condition of the driver. They wanted to be sure that he was not impaired from the marijuana use, and that he could safely drive the car. While speaking with the occupants of the car, one of the officers observed what appeared to be a pistol on the floor near the driver’s foot.
Further search of the three men turned up multiple bags of marijuana and multiple bags of cocaine. They also had a large sum of money in their possession. These are all indications of illicit drug dealing. As a result of this encounter and evidence collected on scene, all three occupants were charged with possession of a firearm and drug distribution.
