Haverhill athletic director Tom O’Brien and football coach Tim O’Connor did not immediately return messages seeking comment Wednesday night. Officials with the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association, the governing body of high school sports in the state, also did not respond to messages.

The Haverhill School Committee is scheduled to hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at 7:30 at City Hall, according to an agenda posted online.

“We’re going abide by the law, abide by our policy, and we’re going make sure this is handled appropriately and the people involved are disciplined accordingly,” school committee member Paul Magliocchetti told WCVB-TV.   https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/11/16/metro/haverhill-cancels-rest-high-school-football-season-after-seeing-alleged-hazing-video/
