Welcome Paulette Van der Kloot to our group. We in Medford want progress, we want to make Medford a better place to live. Under Plan A government we need a vibrant school committee and an inquisitive and effective city council. There's only one person on our city council that you can trust, Breanna Lungo Koehn. The other six councilors are in it for themselves. Some of these individuals are nice enough as people outside of the council, John Falco is a friendly enough, so is Ms. Van der Kloot. But we epect more of elected officials that we pay a small fortune to than just being friendly nice people outside of their roles in city government. Both the council and the school committee have been shills for two absolutely corrupt Administrations, which is no allegation, which can easily be proved. So why enable corruption perpetrated by selfish, misguided individuals such as Leo A. Sacco, Jr., Stephanie Muccini-Burke and Roy E. Belson??? (Dishonorable mention to Mark Rumley, ex councilor Paul Camuso, ex councilor Bob Maiocco, George Scarpelli, Adam Knight, Fred Dello Russo Jr.) They all turn TONE DEAF to our needs and what we deserve as a community. Trees that can live without being chopped down; parents who don't hear about lockdowns and false bomb threats with allegations that bomb sniffing dogs were removed for janitors to do the bomb search. Heck, we have heard via news reports that Russian hackers allegedly were involved in the multitude of bomb scares down the east coast with high schools, but what if a copycat seized upon the moment and really did blast a school wide open? Did Belson have safety measures in place? He didn't. These are logical questions that will be denigrated, called smears. They are not. They are reasonable questions about experiences we have, unfortunately, had to endure because city government is as proactive for the people as Jared Kushner and Donald Trump. The reflection of Stephanie Muccini-Burke's misdeeds and poor judgment is right there in Washington. Microcosm and macrocosm. Hardcore Republicans who hate Muccini-Burke in this city are mortified that I compare Trump with Stephanie. But why? So blinded by loyalty to Trump that they cannot see my objective reporter eye pulling the curtain away and exposing the wizard? It is time that elected officials worked for us. I asked the school committee to help me institute real access TV at the library and at the Chevalier. This would have helped our community. My request to Ms. Van der Kloot - present my experience and knowledge as Executive Director of the TV staiton. I will lift the CORI sanctions against paying cable subscribers and candidates for elected office, I will bring in real programming, we will have real freedom of the press.
